Currently Airing Anime

Next episode will catch up the current FMA chapter, and it'll end the same way. Final episode = a couple chapters including the final chapter of FMA. So yeah, 2 episodes left. I can see how the upcoming episode can be squeezed in, because at where the manga is right now, I can see how they can fit all of that in a single episode with it making sense. Not really difficult. It's the last episode they really have to worry about. Will they have elaborated enough to make sure that their fans are satisfied? Is it really a great ending? etc.

I can't remember the ending of the original FMA enough to compare, so it'll probably strike me as perfectly fine. I hope.

The ending of the first FMA anime was really lacking, because I felt that while everything made sense, it didn't seem like there was a strong sense of unity (unlike the 2nd one). It seemed a bit too rushed as well. I have the movie, and even then, I thought it was pretty boring. I prefer the 2nd. I'll keep it at that.

Katanagatari 6: To be honest, I didn't like it all that much. The removal of the tattoo without killing her seemed terribly convenient. Houou is disturbing. Not sure what's going on with Nanami, but I hope it has a better explanation than Houou cutting down his friend.

Arakawa Under the Bridge 10: The Mayor was funny, but I'd get pissed too. I thought they could've done the last scene better, but maybe the next episode will better it.

Still watching Eva, and watching Maid-Sama and Angel Beats as new episodes come out. Gonna start my dual FMA manga and FMA:B plan later this week.

Also bought 1.11 on Blu-Ray cause it's ~$14 at Amazon. Might save watching it for that GL movie marathon in August.

I like this show. Not my usual fare, but it works. A good combo of all manner of genre.

Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou ep 11

Wow, I feel like this anime is being too rushed. The story is a bit cliched.., however, I love some of the characters! I wish it was like 30+ episodes or something, I don't care when it comes to fan-service because I'm a bit neutral on that, it can either make an anime terrible (most of the time), or somehow 'fit in' with an anime's style and story. Seems like the next one will be the final episode. Hoping that stuff ends well. It seems to differ a bit from the manga too.

Except for Horada and his few goons, the Yellow Scarves are all in Kida's age group from what I can tell. Back when they were explaining the back story for the gang they went on about how it was something they could do as school kids to rebel against the world.
And on the subject of characters of questionable purpose, what's the deal with Simon? He gets a solid amount of screentime, is he really just a bit of a Shizzy foil/comedic relief/prop? You've got me feeling better about why Shinra's dad exists at least.
I'm expecting some more show as OVA or something also. Mostly just because they did some for Baccano! Your novel spoiler has me extra curious and hopeful though.

Wow, Rossiu is a f`ucking plum. I never liked him as soon as he joined Dai-Gurren Brigade, I didn't like his personality during the beginning, and now I see that it worsened. I do know that Viral plays a major role in this anime though, he does seem to reoccur at many occasions. I also know for a damn fact that he isn't a bad guy at all, he has his motives.
