My guess is that they're doing that West/East server thing just to make it easier on the servers to not have to get connections from halfway across the country or something. Though we all know that most people will probably just go to the one that the majority of people swarm to in the first day or so.

Got my Ranger to 29 (trying to get him to 30 by tomorrow night) after leaving him as an alt for so long. I'll say this much about them:

-Their normal attack is absolutely pitiful and weak. I do admit though, their mobility is pretty admirable and nice to have, my first actual speedy/combo-y class rather than slow and strong tanks like Exos and Berserkers. I can somewhat see how Rangers can be so hated in PvP when in PvE I just zoom across the room while WINmill comes off cooldown and I can Triple Clutch for massive damage. Soloing bosses are plain smalltime when I can just run away and shoot from the sky and slowly wear the boss down. Their gun attacks are plain weak in comparison to Windmill. :|
-Can't complain about an increasingly stronger Headshot though. It'll be my source of Overkills and a strong single attack.
-I suck so far at PvP because I'm not made of stone walls; hit and run just isn't my style yet.

tl;dr I am liking Rangers for being a speed based class. I am not enjoying the fact their guns are so weak per hit even after upgrading from a weak clean 25 Revolver to a level 27 +7 quest revolver (went from ~250 attack to 400 and I still hit around 200-250 per non-final normal hit at Behemoth)

DbR is a huge part as well (excepting the "melee ranger" builds that focus primarily on kicks)

Also, 8 Adv Avatars for $20. Even if it's random it's a rather epic deal. Paying ~$40 for a perfect set is tempting too. The Novice package sounds good too, especially for upcoming characters. Why can't Maplestory have more reasonable/awesome deals like this?

Because the MapleStory and Dungeon Fighter Online teams are separate.
And the DFO team is much, much better.

Lol, this new permanent advanced ava thing is amazing. I couldn't have picked the perfect time to make NX cash via Maplestory. Time to gear up my elementalist.

With DFO constantly having NX related events that are actually worth buying it definitely shows. However I can't tell if getting 8 random Adv Avatars for $20 is better than the Valentine's event or not (5 Adv Avatar pieces; none are pieces for attack speed or a bottom, random title, 50 Remy's Touch, 10 Life Tokens, 3 Megaphones for $25).

DFO getting cheaper items? Honestly this type of feedback/changes makes me wonder what are the people over at Maple thinking. When's the last time they ever lowered the NX cost of Maplestory items? Hooray for a more reasonably priced Lithe's Water, especially hooray for cheaper safe upgrades.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH at getting both attack speed avatars. I practically got a perfect Monk Adv Avatar set, but also bloody useful for all my Priests.
