My dad bought this game when it came out when I was 5, and my brother and I played the hell out of it. In the first level, I was hoping you would get the extra life in the house and the extra two lives by rolling across the treetops. And pounding the ground in the spots where 10 bananas were. Is it bad that I still know nearly all the secrets in the game?

That's a great game, the best of the 3 for me at least, I played DKC 1 2 and 3 like a few months ago when I got an USB controller for my comp... fun games :B

Great games. DKC 1,2 and 3 were a huge part of my childhood because my siblings and myself would always be playing them.
I still have my DKC 2 on my Super Nintendo, and have 1 and 3 on the Wii. Achieved 100% in all 3 of them x__x (or it's like, 102% in some of them for getting the bonus area)

Omg, this was one of the first games I ever played on SNES and I loved it! I can't believe I still remember some "secrets" such as going back into the house you first come out from for a life and on the cart level (3rd video), if you jump over the first barrel there's a barrel at the bottom of the screen, adjacent to the wall, that takes you to the very end of the level ;] 1:24 in that same video always got me :x

People on the LP forum seem to not like it.

No. For many reasons.

1) You sound bored out of your skull (and there are really long, awkward moments of complete silence).
2) You're LP:ing a game you don't know how to play properly... and you're doing it badly. Also, you're not editing out your deaths.
3) A quick Google search revealed that everyone and their mothers have done this game. Even frickin' BillyMC.

Wait, which LP forum? Mind linking me to it? Also, if you've seen other LPs, please tell me you've heard of McGammar? This guy's a f`ucking genius. And yeah, I only watched a small portion of the first video, but you do sound a bit bored. Try to sound a bit enthusiastic and make jokes.

Yeah, some people can't give proper criticisms, and instead, just bashes on others for their work. Don't worry about that guy. I'm sure everyone and their mothers have done previous MMZXA LPs too, yet I still see lots of people making them because it's a good game. Do LPs on games that you enjoy playing, not games that nobody will ever play just because there's no LPs on it.

Exactly, I even said in my post I know people will not like it because its DKC but I'd rather do it because I'm comfortable with it.

I can understand that I do need to work on this, but for fucks sake it's my first attempt at an LP and I'm damn proud.
Most people when they first try can't even get the visuals correct ffs.

Yeah, some people even talk too fast or stutter. I do that a couple times when I do a LP too, but hey, happens. You didn't do a bad job on it at all, your voice just seems a bit low. Keep trying, bro!
