HAHAHAHA. Many were saddened at his departure, but probably in a more distant, non-friendly manner.

Then again, a lot were glad about it, too. I think this seems more significant because that seems like so long ago. But it probably was a bigger deal to more people, but I could be wrong. Both are pretty saddening. I've been here since day 1 and every day at that. Gonna miss it if it changes or goes away.

Well this is a newsflash to me. Good to see you're moving on, Paul. No offense to anyone who still plays/enjoys the game, but you can only do so much for a game until you get to where you can't stand it anymore. Keep in touch on AIM dammit.

I guess everyone will move on sooner or later. I'm pretty much sticking around in Maple for the Black Magician storyline and still hoping Nexon will put out official art of the Black Wings. When that's done, I'll probably disappear from Maple myself.

Well now, looks like all good things must come to end eh? Many have said what I would say, regrettable that such a place goes boom, but in the face of life issues it is inevitable. Before the site goes down, I suppose we can still hope for the best and expect the worst. Anyway, if worse comes to worst, than good luck with life everybody.

I know that I've never been one too active among all the members here and that I've been even more-so inactive lately, but this is a depressing, yet realistic revelation. Having been here since the split off from Sleepywood, I'd like to say you've provided a very mature and informative home for those interested in Maple and other things. The community was one I felt we could all be comfortable in and not have to deal with many idiotic or redundant questions or topics that were purely self-centered.

Seeing this happen though, I really should evaluate those questions you've asked yourself for myself. I'm not really getting anywhere towards moving forward since high-school has ended and I've lost touch with practically everyone I once knew; partly out of spite that I was the only one putting a step forward with any of them. I've seen entire generations pass in MS and have made no recent efforts to find new friends in game; even avoiding some of those who I've known for some time so as to not get involved in anything. Since I've already made a commitment to not purchase NX anymore among all these other things, I really need to consider once and for all deleting MS. The only real thing keeping me around was interacting with the community here, and even then I was more a lurker than anything else. Although, the way I've been the past year, I can't say I have much of a social life left... an additional factor keeping me here.

So, yes, there comes a time when we must all move on, even if it means a fresh start with no backing or direction. For every end, there is a new beginning. I wish you well on your endeavors.

Eep. I just joined SouthPerry last week (I think...), although I have been lurking around here since last year without an account ever since Alilatias posted threads over at the MapleSEA forums ranting about stuff...

I certainly wish that SouthPerry will continue running, at the very least as "just a forum" - a place for everyone to socialise and share their thoughts. I certainly believe that all the information here is extremely useful, but more than the information it is the community that I feel rather attached to although I haven't been here very long. Perhaps it is because the people here are much more mature than the ones over at the MapleSEA forums.

While I do want SouthPerry to stay, who am I to decide Fiel's future? I'm not God. Whatever Fiel wants to do with his life from now on - including SouthPerry's fate - is up to him. If he decides to close the site down, then so be it. I only ask that the community here, at least, continue to keep in touch and still meet up on the net to discuss miscellaneous issues. I hope that, should SouthPerry close down for real, someone would create a site where everyone here can meet up once again. Perhaps I could also join in then.

Here's wishing Fiel the very best in his future endeavours. I hope that you will be truly satisfied with the decision you make on the 16th of June, whatever it may be.
