Holy crap @ that last screen shot... +7 DEX AND +21% DEX.

Don't forget the 6dex, 21% dex cape to go with that o.o

Lol this just breaks maple totally. Get me some +20% int or matk items here. That would give such an enourmous boost to mages since it's quadratic on matk.

I'm starting to speculate that Nexon is gearing up for some seriously strong content. I mean why else would they practically enable users to double their current damage range unless they have the monsters that can take the hits?

Does anyone know the odds of getting +% w.attk on a weapon? The first few potential scrolls still have a good % to work, don't they? It goes 90% > 80% > 70% etc right?

The +%s are not from "star" scrolls, they are from "identifying" your equips. Which is where NX comes in. You identify your gear, if you don't like it you use the "magic box" and it lets you try again.

Clean 5 slots, "identified" to percent stats.

If you look through the gear posted on the Hero and Corsair, none is more than 3 stars. They're really way too risky >_> Hell, that Corsair's gun is:
Reverse Blindness (+5)
Item level: MAX
+8 dex
+100 w.atk
+5 acc
--------
+12 w.atk
+24 avoid

Like I mentioned in the first post, a perfect weapon is still good because +5 w.atk is fairly good (a 160 atk weapon is nice even without percent stats)

When you have 1500+ stats a w.atk is worth way more.

Adding up:
make
+73% dex
+4% str
+64 dex
+34 str

With unspecified MW cast & unspecified stats on the shoe :/ no way to tell what the actual stats are.

e: I think it applies like that:
1) base stats
2) % MW
3) + equip stats
4) % equips
That is, with 704 base dex
2) 774 with MW20
3) 850 with 76 equip dex
4) 1496 with 76% equip dex

That would imply a 12 dex 3% dex shoe. Still can't reconcile the STR though... how does +34 str +4% str turn into +78?

HighOnMushrooms Wrote:Equipment that is identified/has potential are actually very easy to obtain.

Normal equipment dropped by monsters has a change to be 'unidentified', so you can use a 'Magnifying Glass' on it to gain extra stats. However, already existing equipment can also be made 'unidentified' through the use of the Purple Potential Scroll. The Yellow Potential Scroll is the one that adds extra stats and stars, and has a decreasing success rate.

Here's my explanation from another thread.

I'm pretty sure the Potential scroll can give % stats too.

You forgot to mention the Miracle cubes.

The corsairs equips don't show the overall or medal (+2 to all) either. Depending on the order, since the red bellyduke requires 100str, its safe to assume it gives somewhere in the region of 30 strength

Ok that's true, so it's possible the percents are applied in a different order. Really need to see everything to be sure.

In any case, that cape adds something like 154 dex, and the earring also. So lol current equips?

Here's a comparison between stats with and without MW, for figuring out how MW is thrown into the mix.

So, if I have a perfect BB I can try as many times as I want (provided I have the NX) to get +% w.attk on my BB?

Pretty sure you can get miracle cubes without NX.

Then how do you explain the shards?

Takebacker Wrote:Then how do you explain the shards?

You get shards when you use a Miracle Cube to un-potential-ize an equip. When you get 10 of those shards, you turn them in to the Maple Admin (?) for an "Advanced Potential Scroll"

That's also on Spadow's blog.

Spadow Wrote:The image above says you can get a regular potential scroll if you exchange five pieces of the Miracle Cube. ()

If you want the advanced potential scroll, you will have to exchange ten pieces of the Miracle Cube.
You get a piece for every reset you apply to an item with the Miracle Cube.
So let’s say that you want the advanced potential scroll? You will need to buy 10 Miracle Cubes and use it 10 times on an item!

The update preview said that one Miracle Cube costs 1,200 won and a bundle of 6 for 6,000 won.
You will have to pay roughly $10 for an advanced potential scroll… ;;

What the hell is a shard ? OH. Nvm, ShiKage explained it.
Didn't know what it was in english >.>

Here's something more to the extra stats. As you guys know, you use magnifying glasses to identify an item's potential stats.
Each of these magnifying glasses will reveal 2 or 3 stats. No less, no more.
Now, let's say you got a crappy run, and you decide to use a Miracle cube.
Items that have 2 potential stats will alway have 2, and those with 3 potential stats will always have 3 stats.
Rare/Epic/Unique < these may change, but the number of stats will always stay the same.

Rare items have a maximum % stat potential of 3%.
Therefore, total % of a rare item can have 3% + 3% + 3%.

Epic items have a maximum % stat potential of 6%.
Therefore, total % of an Epic item can have 6% + 6% + 6%.

Unique items have a maximum % stat potential of 9%.
Therefore, total % of a Unique item can have 9% + 9% + 9%.

Levels 1~30: Rare = 1%, Epic = 2%, Unique = 3%
Levels 31~70: Rare = 2%, Epic = 4%, Unique = 6%
Levels 71+: Rare = 3%, Epic = 6%, Unique = 9%

Possible stats for certain items:
Hats - Chance of showing an Emotion when hit, Stats, Stat %, Accuracy, Avoidability, W.DEF, M.DEF %, Chance of recovering HP/MP, Ignore monster's attack/damage.
Face accessory - Stat %, Accuracy, Avoidability, W.DEF, M.DEF %, Recover HP/MP per second, Max HP/MP
Eye accessory - Stat %, Accuracy, Avoidability, W.DEF, M.DEF %, Max HP/MP
Tops/bottoms/overalls - Stat %, Chance of Invincibility when hit, +1 ~2 of a skill, Chance of recovering HP/MP, W.DEF, M.DEF, Avoidablility, Accuracy %, Chance of Autosteal (No idea what this is though), +% of a potion, Reduction of a curse's duration (Seal, slow, etc.), Max HP/MP
Shoes - Stat %, W.DEF, M.DEF, Avoidability, Accuracy %, Chance of avoiding an attack, Max HP/MP
Gloves - Stat %, W.DEF, M.DEF, Avoidability, Accuracy %, Chance of recovering HP/MP when attacking, +% of a potion, Max HP/MP, Chance of Autosteal
Capes - Stat %, W.DEF, M. DEF, Chance of avoiding an attack, Max HP/MP, +1~2 of all skills
Earrings - Stat %, W.DEF, M.DEF, Avoidability, Accuracy %, Max HP/MP
Belts and rings - Stat %, W.DEF, M.DEF, Avoidability, Accuracy %, Max HP/MP
Weapons - Stat %, W.ATT, M.ATT, Total W.ATT %, Total damage %, M.ATT %, Ignore monster's W.DEF/M.DEF at a certain percentage, 20%~30% bonus damage when attacking a boss monster, Chance to recover HP/MP, All skills +1~2, Max HP/MP, Critical damage, Chance to freeze/poison/seal/slow/blind monster
