We're Back!

Hi South Perrians and Scanians! After our hiatus since September, we're back and raring to go! A lot of us quit after the summer mainly because we didn't have time to maintain the guild and didn't have much time to play in general. This week is Spring Break for many of us, so we thought it was a great time to get back in the groove and get the good old Maple juices flowing!

Everything is pretty much the same. The level limit has been bumped down to 30+. Exceptions can be made if you are active and willing to level to the best of your ability.

We value activity over levels. Activity doesn't mean, "Log on and go afk for the whole day." We find it more fun if everyone knows everyone and people talk to each other. MapleStory is based on playing with people, if you take that away it's just boring.

About Repulse

Repulse was started back in July 2006. The guild was quite popular among fellow Scanians and also had a few run ins...yeah...we'll call it that, with ImpuLse, the rival guild. The guild was re-made several times and went as far as to have two divisions (back when you could only have 30 slots). In early 2007 Repulse went through a series of dark events and was disbanded by a hacker (not by the guild hack) and re-made by an unknown group of maplers.

We re-made Repulse (the original creators) in late June 2008 under the leader of LightSpiral. Repulse isn't a guild about high leveling, or focused on getting fame at the expense of friendships and acting like a bunch of pricks. We value activity as the highest priority. Leveling comes second. We believe that in time, people will level so why kick them out if they're nice, friendly, and active.

How To Join

If you would like to join please make sure you fulfill the following prerequisites:

*We ask that you be active. Activity is our guilds highest priority.
*You must play in the SCANIA MAPLEGLOBAL SERVER (sort of a dumb requirement...but people are very careless these days).
*We would like it if people are levels 30+, but there may be exceptions as long as you are very active.
*All classes/jobs are accepted.
*No hacking or scamming. Those found to do so will be immediately expelled.
*Being friendly and kind is a plus. 'WB's and 'Hi's are very much appreciated.
*Leveling at some point would be nice. You don't have to kill yourself and you won't be kicked as long as you're active. But the higher the levels we are, the more things we can do.
*And most of all...you have to want to have fun! That's what Repulse is all about!

I don't know (and I don't think they do either) who the 'Pulse' guild is. We've been around since 2006...so I don't think there will be any confusion whatsoever.

I wish Khaini guilds had dedication like this. It used to be like this, but now no one cares about guilds. Sad.

I think you're mistaken. I created the guild on July 25, 2006. Unless you disbanded it, we're the original Repulse and the only Repulse that anyone has ever known. Sorry, but I don't believe you. If you want to argue with me, you can PM me.

Thanks. We're sick of the "1337 high leveled" guilds that don't care about players. We try to make everyone feel welcome and happy.
