Equipment that is identified/has potential are actually very easy to obtain.

Normal equipment dropped by monsters has a change to be 'unidentified', so you can use a 'Magnifying Glass' on it to gain extra stats. However, already existing equipment can also be made 'unidentified' through the use of the Purple Potential Scroll. The Yellow Potential Scroll is the one that adds extra stats and stars, and has a decreasing success rate.

Then why do we get Maple Warrior?

Storyline: They were followers of the black mage (hence black mage esque skills) -> learned the black wings REAL plan -> decide they're evil, become the resistance, and join all the other races in fighting the black mage.

Purple works 100%. Stats given are anything and everything under the sun. They drop from everything.

I AFK'd for a while and I came back dead. I thought someone summoned on me. But it wasn't I was looking at my HP and I constantly lose hp.

Basically if this % of a stat deal hits GMS, all equips on the market are automatically trash and everyone will have to re-scroll all their crap for percents? =/

Froz do you think there is a W. Atk equivalent of the m. atk % enchant?

% equips are additive. W.att % equips exist. Even i have +% int equips, lol.

Actually, the % system has made a huge effect on kMS, many high-leveled kMSers have much over twice the damage ranges of gMS counterparts =/ One of the reasons I don't plan on upgrading anything for a while.

And blech, because what Cyanne said is exactly why I was worried about %W.Att: bring these scrolls to GMS, and not only is all gear crap, but clearly we're moving to even more private-server-esque gameplay. I mean, a Lv. 200 Hero almost solo'd HT in GMS a few weeks ago using only a 30k HP warrior as a seduce mule; give him %W.Att gear and he not only would've soloed it, but saved hours of time.

Now all GMS needs is the ability to HP wash like JMSers do, and the % gear of KMS, and it'll be unstoppable. Better than most well-known private servers, I'd reckon.

After my 2nd death, I decided to turn on the blue aura on to protect me LOL. Didn't help.

Here's a quick comparison, this level 200 MM does a 92k strafe easily with just a 20 att weather effect and echo, while I struggle to do 39k on my level 190 MM with the same buffs.




I don't really like the direction Nexon korea is taking with scrolling either, though we should probably have already gotten used to well-scrolled items becoming useless a few months after we scroll them. Imagine this kind of damage with apples O_o
