Not much. It's still multiplicative and thus benefits us less because blow hits are really weak.

@ above: There's definitely no way a battle mage could kill BF effectively, lol. On the bright side, they will be able to take a hit by 130 or so.

Level 131 Battlemage @ Skeles. (Jesus christ those equips are insane. Look at his Matk and +Int). Too bad he added all that SP into Maple Warrior Rolleyes.

He is significantly weaker than the guy in the last video, but shows what a more realistic Battlemage would be like.

I'm fairly sure (not 100%Wink that 42 damage per sec is from Advanced Dark Aura

It doesnt poison, it just does straight damage to any monster within range.

That's pretty pitiful damage - 100 damage/sec is nothing at higher levels, even against bosses.

Yeah it is pretty pathetic. It should just be poison like i thought it was to begin with. That said, you can sit on a rope and the poison will still work. (ultimate afk job, anyone?)

So the "100 matk" think is really just 100 damage per second an not +100 matk? Frown

Has anyone figured out the Genesis/Cyclone damage issue yet? I just noticed that the lvl 131 BM's Dark Genesis outdamages Cyclone but the level 121's doesn't.

Well, if it makes mobs follow you, it HAS to help. Like, teleporting across an entire map, only to smash them out as they keep coming.

Yeah. I saw in a video that Cyclone gives a massive MATK boost (it gave a 533 MATK boost at level 1 in the youtube video I saw).

In regards to that lvl 131 battlemage video...

In case any of you didn't catch herr equipments:

Cape: 6 int, +9% int
Shoes: +3% int
Gloves: 10 int, int +4%, int +4%, HP +6%
Helmet: 31 int, int+4%, int +6%
Staff: 6/101 int/matt, int +9%, (something) +6%, (same something) +6% <~ I'm assuming those are magic attack +6s
Earrings: 3 int, int +9%, int +9%, luk +6%
Top: 4int (nothing special it seems)

So yeah.

Holy hell.

Question: is the % boost additive or multiplicative?
I.E. Will int +10%, int +10% on equips give you int*(1.2)? Or will it be int*1.1*1.1?
If it's additive then she has int +51% from the equips I was able to see...hot dam. She didn't hover over her bottom or her shield.
If it's multiplicative then she has +73.36% int 0.o

There's also those few +%s that may have been magic attack but since I can't read that language's writing I'm left out on that info. So yeah~ Hot dam.

From a formula/logic point of view, I would expect them to be additive. It looked like the stat screen was showing 6xx int + 8xx though. I think he had mw20 which would be +130-or-so int. It feels like something's missing.

INT+2
WDEF 21
MDEF 15
DEX+4
LUK+4

She has MW30. Even still, her base INT is too low for it to make that substantial of a difference, as compared to %INT equips.

Are %APSTAT equips the "wave of the future" in East Asian MS versions? I think I dismissed them earlier as being too difficult to obtain/not as powerful as I thought or whatnot, yet here you have a Battlemage that's stronger than myself and almost every other GMS Magician I know at Lv. 200, and this one's at 131. Please tell me this stark contrast from reality only exists in Tespia.

Basically if this % of a stat deal hits GMS, all equips on the market are automatically trash and everyone will have to re-scroll all their crap for percents? =/

Froz do you think there is a W. Atk equivalent of the m. atk % enchant?

% equips are additive. W.att % equips exist. Even i have +% int equips, lol.

Actually, the % system has made a huge effect on kMS, many high-leveled kMSers have much over twice the damage ranges of gMS counterparts =/ One of the reasons I don't plan on upgrading anything for a while.
