Presenting my horribly edited video.
Fraps lags my maple sometimes so some scenes are skipped to ensure me living. I recorded up to the point where my hard drive had about 2 gigs left so I recorded as much as I could.
Anyways level 112 hermit soloing pap. 14 heart stoppers used and a 20 atk boost from the map weather effect.
Took about ~30 minutes. More or less.

I actually enjoyed this. I would say that pap is not a challenging boss to a large number of players these days with apples, hp washing, etc. but you did it without all those, and the outcome of the battle was actually in limbo, unlike most battles where people dont die unless they lag for a few hours, and even then autopot might save them...It was probably pretty tense when you were stunned and saw those bombs approaching you. My first pap run was years ago back when bottom bombs did 8k when they blew up, and the only times people papped were in full parties with Dks, priests, etc. This definitely brought back memories of those, least for me.
This was fun to watch, the music was refreshing, and I didnt pay attention to the damage at all. I spent most of the time actually watching your gameplay, flash jumping into and away from things, clearing bombs for 2nd body, etc.
Sure, some of the editing probably could've been better, and there's probably more you could've done instead of just putting in pure, uncut footage. However, that being said, it was enjoyable the way it is, least to me.

Wow, is that the same Hermit I added on my BL, Pikachu? I think it was you that I added on my BL. If you did have a character named "Kenthian" or "Kasuhitomi" on your BL at one point, that's me. But damn, wow, VERY NICE control. This is what I'm more interested in seeing than damage. Music was a major change of pace and wasn't boring at all. Keep up the good work!

Yup, you added me pre-aran I think. Thanks about the control comment. I learned from solo training at himes from level 87-105. Defintely worth it considering I leeched 75-87 . I'm gald the music didn't bore you guys.

Thanks for the comment. This was defintely the most fun I had in a long while, figuring things on the spot, having bombs almost explode in my face when I'm stunned, and lagging just a bit . I'm gald it brought back memories 'cause who doesn't remember first generation papulatus and zakum parties? The dark site, flash jump thing for second body, I actually copied off someone who posted a video soloing it in 2006 or 2007 when Papulatus just came out for GMS. I'm not familiar at all with Sony Vegas (and never read any tutorials) so this was the best of my editing.

The problems I've had with Papulatus, when I solo'd it as a lv 12x-133 NL was that I noticed that I end up using anywhere from 1 apple, up to 2 apples. Sometimes 1 full apple, and barely half of the 2nd one. I just hate getting stunned for about a couple seconds and then touching a bomb by accident, insta-death. I forgot what my HP was, but I think it was almost 4k at 133 or so? Regardless, I find it a tad difficult to solo Pap since I'm constantly FJ'ing in reverse so I can dodge bombs while shooting stars, haha.
Normally takes me anywhere from 20-40 mins. 20 if I'm extremely lucky, but very rarely. So kudos! LOL! I remembered posting my gear once in the Thief Flaunting thread, and you wanted to catch up to me or something. Seems like you already have, man. And I'm not talking about gear, but control. You definitely did better than me at dodging bombs, wow. I was actually really impressed.
There aren't a lot of videos like this one, most of the Pap solos I've seen = LV 170+ NLs spamming stars and being mostly stationary with auto-pot and they don't really try to dodge much. Kinda boring, all they do is show their crits, gets boring fast.
Your's was pretty good! 9/10. (This was a continuation of my previous comment)

Nice video, but I should ask... Where's the music from? Just curious.

No wonder I recognized the 3rd song, but didn't know where it came from. <_<

This is just so sexi. Can I have your babies? But in all seriousness that was probably the most engaging maple video I've ever watched... Usually I fast forward through to see how skills work or something. Spectacular job.
