[1.2.314] Battlemage Job
He's using dark aura. Perhaps Dark Genesis is not affected by Dark Aura and Cyclone is?

Mobs have explicit resistance to dark, not implicit resistance to dark due to being undead. This is clear in the Chaos boss mobs thread.

That still wouldn't account for the difference though.

Level 1 Dark Genesis = 770 BA
Level 1 Cyclone = 440 BA * 1.1 = 484 BA

Maybe Cyclone is just glitched. :f6:

* 1.1 + 100 matk

Not 100, whatever it gives at level one. Unless he has max dark aura. I cant really check right now.

I don't think he had any Advanced Dark Aura since he was only level 120. He had points in Dark Genesis, Cyclone, and whatever the 6 hit blow is called.

I can confirm that DG isnt affected by ADA though. Tornado is insane. Mowing down 3 platforms of kents feels amazing.

Theres an animation difference between an advanced and a reg aura by the way. The adv ver is much wider.

By the way, auras were patched. If you go outside the range of the caster, the aura turns off. This is huge because the range is so small but it does balance things considering the buffs are so strong. If you're excited about auras for training, prepare to be disappointed.

His Cyclone hits over 90k while his Genesis doesn't even break 80k.

For "Revive", it looks like you use the buff, then every monster you kill has a 20% chance(lv20) of summoning a Reaper. After being summoned the Reaper can attack monsters on its own..

I wonder though... about the 10% "instant death" thing if it applies to the target the Reaper hits or if it's a 10% chance the Reaper dies when it attacks.

Eww. I can see this being a total drag.

That's how I figured they were supposed to work. This could be annoying for bossing too since Battlemages attack at such close range. Hopefully they'll upgrade the range of the Advanced Auras at least.

Well it does give higher priority for stance. Im gonna dump 6 points in it real early.

Of course it applies to what the reaper attacks.

What's Reaper's duration once it's summoned? Is it also 90 seconds?

I believe so yes. Hes also very strong. 13ks at level 10x.

Can the reaper summon other reapers?

Because that can be awesome.

EDIT: Missed the video. Damn, those reapers are so cool. And totally not useless.

Nope.

Oh well. At least I can hope someone gets to summon reapers non-stop at HHG1. REAPER PARADE.

Yeah after seeing that above Battlemage at Skeles, those Reapers are definitely a lot better than we initially thought. I'd like to see a Lv. 200 well-equipped Battlemage summon as many as possible, because I'd imagine that if you have them overflowing on platforms (provided you can't max spawn per pixels or whatnot), especially when they're doing enough damage to 2hko, you may not need to bother killing for a couple seconds. Fun leech Smile.

I am curious to see a higher leveled BM(battlemage) with SE, I wonder how it interacts with a physical/magic based class Smile

I dunno what being 200 has to do with it but they aren't really reliable enough to manage your killing for you. :/

I had it yesterday. Why do you think it's supposed to be different...?

End-game for maximum potential in terms of killing ability. But hearing they wouldn't be able to manage your killing is enough to Sad @ the idea.
