Agree that it's awesome, but then again, the chaos scroll supply in MSEA isn't that high in the first place. =/

The quest got activated suddently on 26th May 2010 00.00AM gave out all the items and scrolls without an Evan, and it's all at 100% rate.
A bunch of people are completing the quest right now with multiple character/mules, as there's a patch in 6 hours.


Its a glitch!

1. The Birth of a New Hero Event (26th May ~ 16th June 2010)

There's no job requirement on both v.92 and v.93 Quest.wz file.

MSEA might have all the database hacking, bad english and other flaws you wanna mention, but hell, they sure know how to run events after every patch.
I hope Nexon NA reads this. Shame on GMS.

what sucks is the events is usually sort of like (event 1 15 ~ 24 june) > (event 2 25 ~ 20 july)

theyre not happening at the same time usually.

compensation for their server crashes =/= planned anniversary 2x event.

but i guess they finally caught on to their failure anniversary and scheduled 2 weekends of 2x ;] it's a start i guess.

11. Seeker of Hi5 to MapleSEA Treasure Hunt Event (26th May ~ 14th July 2010)
Talk to NPC Joyce and she will teleport you to the treasure hunt map. Inside the map, you will not be able to use skill such as teleport or flash jump. Boxes with random rewards will appear at random location within the event map. You will need to search for a Hi 5 Treasure Map by destroying boxes with your normal attacks. This Hi 5 Treasure Map will allows you to exchange for a special gift with NPC Vikan. A special 5th Anniversary chair is awaiting for you as 1 of the many gifts at NPC Vikan.

this event rox. even though it's very hard to find the treasure map, the boxes drops 15% scrolls. and it drop pretty often too. i got like 8 earring int scroll and 5 glove atk scroll.
and the boxes drop minigame items like omok (the completed one where you can use it to play minigame), power elixer and some other stuff.

I sure hope the summer patch for GMS is practically a compensation patch, and by that I mean good enough to let us forget about how terribly flawed this May patch was. I always fail at bandwagon-ing; my Evan is Level 20. But for everyone else it would've been a lot nicer to wait longer for Evan so there wouldn't have been so many problems. But it was a goldmine waiting to happen, not exactly fair to say GMS could've done otherwise. SEA did a great job with Evan; normal scrolls, no cash shop books, all that was needed to make the class actually a little bit WORTH IT.
