The upcoming patch of Version 0.93:

[Basic Information]

A new Hero who re-establish the spirit pact with the legendary Onyx Dragon: Evan

Evan was just an average boy living in Henesys until the day of an unusual dreams where he dream about wandering into a strange fog-enshrouded forest and came to face a majestic black-scaled face. Ancient, wise eyes that stared into his own and a voice echoed in his head.

“Come to me Evan, let our souls be joined…”

Evan woke up feeling frightened and excited but soon he convinced himself that it was only a fantasy.

Weeks later, a small piglet escaped from the farm and Evan chased the piglet for hours deep into the forest.

He fell into a deep hole and passes out.

Evan regain his conscious only to find a familiar place from his dream.

Walking as if his feet knew the way, he came across a round shaped rune inscribed with strange glowing symbol only to realize that it was an egg! Evan reaches his hand out to touch it and felt a warm shell pulse under his hand and a familiar voice rang in his ears.

“The Pact is formed. We are One now…”

Evan quickly grab the egg and ran home.

After weeks of tender care, as Evan hovered over the egg, the day came when a crack appeared on its smooth shell. A few more cracks and a tiny reptilian form tumbled into Evan’s hands.

The little creature looked up into Evan’s eyes and his whole world changed.

[Quests]

Upon creating an Evan class in MapleSEA, you will start out in an fog-enshrouded forest which leads to meeting up with the legendary King of Onyx Dragon, Afrien. As Evan awaken from his dream, he will appear in his room inside Utah’s House.

Your first mission will start off with Anna, Evan’s mother who will request you to speak with Utah, Evan’s Brother. From then on, a series of quest will be activated.

As Mir, your in-game partner hatched from his egg, the journey to become the next great Dragon Master will begin.

1. The Birth of a New Hero Event (26th May ~ 16th June 2010)
Introducing the new Hero in Maple World. His name is Dragon Master Evan! Cassandra will reward you with a special gift when you level up to level 30 as an Evan. That’s not all! You will also receive scroll to use along with the dragon glasses when you continue to level up after level 30. What are you waiting for? Start playing a Evan Today!!

2. A Gift for the Dragon Master Event (26th May ~ 10th November 2010)
Work hard with your Evan Character and be rewarded with this exclusive Dragon Glasses when you achieve level 30. That’s not all, this special glasses can be scroll with special scroll which will be given for FREE when you level up to the desire level. This special Dragon Glasses will have 5 upgrade slots available.

3. Evan Everyday Event (26th May ~ 16th June 2010)
During the event period, you will be able to start the quest with NPC Cassandra and will receive a Mini Dragon Egg. The egg will hatch in 1 hour. Player must not log out from the game during the period of time. Once log out, the egg will disappear from the players inventory. Player will need to forfeit the quest from their quest log and re-take the quest from NPC Cassandra to receive a new Mini Dragon Egg. Player who successfully hatch the egg will need to visit NPC Cassandra and answer a simple question about Evan. This quest can be repeated every 24hrs.
Reward for this event: Evan’s Paper Box

Feeling the summer heat? From 26th May to 27th June 2010, all monsters will drop Ice Box at a random rate. This cooling ice box will reward players with special items, equipment and a cool time limit Yeti Riding Skill.

Summer Boys & Girls look over here! This is an event just for you!! By simply logging in everyday, you will receive a gift. On top of that, you will receive a 30-Day Summer Boy or Girl Medal if you participate for consecutively 20 days.

6. Top 5 Evan Class Event (26th May ~ 30 June 2010)
With the official launch of Evan on 26th May 2010, the challenge of the Top Evan Class Character in each server will begin. This time, we will be rewarding the top 5 Evan player in each server.
The Top 5 Evan player will be selected based on the Level and EXP achieved on 30th June 2010 before Server Check.

In the event that there are several characters with the same highest level, a chosen winner will be the hero who achieved the highest level at the fastest time.
There will only be 5 winners per world, and what exactly is the prize for this event?

Top 1st Evan will receive:
1 x Orb of Fire Wand
1 x Miracle Scroll for Wand for Magic Att.
1 x Ultimate Spirit Pact Pendant

Top 2nd ~ 5th Evan will receive:
1 x Fire Wand
1 x Master Spirit Pact Pendant

7. Maple Weapon Drop Event (16th June ~ 14th July 2010)

8. Growing Maple Tree Event (16th June ~ 14th July 2010)
Growing Maple Tree Event is back by popular demand! To enter Maple Tree Hill, talk to Maple Administrator and she will send you there. In order for the maple tree to grow, player will need to provide NPC Armi with sufficient Sunshine. Sunshine can be hunt from all monsters. Once the Maple tree is fully grown, it will drop out maple leaf and Gold Maple Leaf. Gold Maple Leaf can be exchange with NPC Armi for some cool items and maple equipment.

9. Draw a Portrait Event (16th June ~ 14th July 2010)
According to the different level, you will receive a drawing paper. Double click to open it, drag the special dye which is obtainable from monsters to complete the picture.
Reward for this event: 5th Anniversary Gift Box

10. Attack of the Cake Event (16th June ~ 14th July 2010)
Cake monster will spawn at random timing at Henesys Park, Ellinia, Perion, Kerning City, Orbis, Ludibrium, Leafre, Mu Lung and Magatia. Special Cake will drop as a reward for those who successfully slay the cake monster.

11. Seeker of Hi5 to MapleSEA Treasure Hunt Event (26th May ~ 14th July 2010)
Talk to NPC Joyce and she will teleport you to the treasure hunt map. Inside the map, you will not be able to use skill such as teleport or flash jump. Boxes with random rewards will appear at random location within the event map. You will need to search for a Hi 5 Treasure Map by destroying boxes with your normal attacks. This Hi 5 Treasure Map will allows you to exchange for a special gift with NPC Vikan. A special 5th Anniversary chair is awaiting for you as 1 of the many gifts at NPC Vikan.

12. 5th Anniversary Candle Event (26th May ~ 14th July 2010)
Collect Piece of Birthday Cake which can be obtain from all monsters and give them to NPC Aramia. Once the status bar for the birthday cake is full. Beware, mini boss monster will be summoned.

13. Monster Box Event (26th May ~ 1st June 2010)

Monster box event strikes back in MapleSEA. Having a hard time getting those important Mastery books from Zakum and Horntail? Now you will have a chance to get them from our monster box event. What’s more! You can get different set of rare items with up to 9 available upgrade slot. So what are you waiting for? Gear up and start hunting for those boxes. Note: You will need to purchase the keys available in our Cash Shop in order to open the box.

14. Gachapon Stamp Event (26th May ~ 16th June 2010)

Gachapon Stamp Event is back with more attractive rewards!! You will receive a Gachapon Stamp for every Gachapon Ticket purchase from the Cash Shop. Collect these Gachapon Stamps and you can exchange them for ingame items with NPC Maple Administrator.

Note: Kindly ensure that you have at least 1 empty ETC slot in your inventory in order to receive the Gachapon Stamp upon the purchase of Gachapon Ticket.

2. Add a Windows Live Messenger Buddy Feature

Add a buddy in MapleSEA by right clicking on the users!

Here’s the steps to add your new buddy in your Windows Live Messenger:
1. Right click on the character you want to add.
2. Click on the last option (Add a WLM Buddy), and a window will pop up.
3. Key in the user’s WLM address and click ok.
4. Game Client will minimized and a window will prompt you to ensure that you want to add the users.
5. Once both characters key in each other emails, they will have their WLM contacts in their Windows Live Messenger.

It’s just so easy. Start adding your Maple Buddies into your Windows Live Messenger!

What the hell do the Spirit Pact Pendants do?

(Rethorical question, I don't think the pendants are in any other version. Guess we'll find out from the extractions soon.)

Wow at their 2x EXP events. It's essentially 3 hours worth of 2x EXP almost every day. The hours may be split between one hour during each morning, afternoon, and evening, but that pretty much ensures that almost everyone should be able to participate in at least one 2x event hour every day.
