But yeah, I agree, you should be able to see it yourself as well. It's annoying when people can't read what I'm saying, and have to ask me what those words are. ;x

It's still better than getting filter owned and dying because of screen freeze.

I really think Nexon just dumped a dictionary list of "bad words" into their filter, without checking to see if they were still in common use. Most players don't even know what these terms mean, much less use them, so how much good does it really do to filter them out?

Probably should have made it so you could turn off the filter individually.

If they really wanted her to change her IGN, why didn't they give her a free name change NX item? (This is the case in WoW at least, where you get a free name change due to an innappropriate name.)

This happens to me all the time. It taught me more curse words than it kept me from cursing. I think they just have to disable it intiarly. (or at least for 18+).

Anyways... I think the point is for us not to see the censor...only so that we don't realize that we're swearing so we won't try to correct it by putting a comma in between or something...but it still has it's faults =P

Pigs isn't what's being blocked, it's "igs".
