what exactly is it used for? and do i lose it once i talk to the ridley statue? i just got one.

Ridley will ask you for some boss items (balrog claw, pap curl, bigfoot toe, etc) and if you give them to him he acts as a "super gach" where you have a chance to get a rare item. Your reward varies from dragon items to umbrellas.

Seeing as the tao of sights comes from firebrand badges, it would be logical to have nightshadow badges exchange for the tao of shadows. As for the tao of harmony, we can't be quite sure it'll come from either windraiders or stormbreakers because those are the two weaker of the four, and the lower meso handouts reflect nexon's acknowledgement of this. It wouldn't be implausible for them to come from the 25 of each exchange though, since combining the badges from all types of monsters creates harmony? or something?

I think that's the most logical answer. I say we go with that, since the rest of this EQ has been completely predictable so far (windraiders = ranged weaponry, stormbreakers = warrior stuff, firebrands = mage stuff, etc).

well, hopefully this ~17 mil investment comes back awesome with a pyogo or dragon wand/staff :O im gonna try and get a few different items, such as HH head, balrog claw, and maybe something else. If its one that doesnt have text yet, ill SS them.

Ridley would have been a great way to actually incorporate elemental weapons into this patch instead of just stuffing them into gachapon. By letting ridley give them out as rewards, they would still force people to pay money to get ridley stones too, similar to gachapon >_>

did anyone think that ridley could give out taos too? i mean, if you put ridley who is a 'super-gach' and taos a rare item like from gach...

I definitely agree. Though, it's still possible that the elemental weapons will come from this, I mean look at how long it took us to get a Tao.
