FMA:B and Durarara just keep getting nuttier. I feel like all the problems in Durarara would be solved if everyone would sit down and have a nice chat. Still need to catch up Arakawa and Angel Beats, tempted to drop Heroman (Pleasant, campy, and retro, but just not really doing it for me) and try out Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. It isn't overwhelmingly haremed-up and fanserviced is it?

I dunno... sometimes? The first episode feels like it, but then the third episode doesn't so much. And then the 6th episode does it a lot. There are a lot of floating censors... but they're not often the focus of attention. So... yes, I guess, but not nearly as bad as something like To Love-Ru.

Comparing something like To Love Ru, or .. Kiss X Sis to.. Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou is hard. Because while one anime purposely does it to draw viewers (mostly nudity or with censoring, etc), the other one has slight nudity and some censoring, but actually has a decent plot.

Tl;dr: Kiss X Sis / To Love Ru / [insert anime with mostly nudity] =/= Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

Fight scenes were awesome. You could really tell they spent a lot of effort on this episode, though some parts were questionable quality. Give and take I guess. Now, I can't help but feel Suzaku vs Lelouch type scenario and I hate myself for thinking it.

I was more comparing the fanservice aspects of both shows, rather than the shows as a whole. By "as bad as" I meant the fanservice isn't nearly as extreme as it was in To Love-Ru, not that To Love-Ru is bad. (I do think that, but that's not what I was trying to say.)

Arakawa Under the Bridge 7: The scene near the end with P-ko was great; it even made the song work better. And wow, P-ko is Maka? So they finally find him: I was wondering why he could live here for a while without anyone disturbing him. Also, it was also interesting how he said "oh, I'll be able to go all winter without her doing something to me." The way he thinks about time shows how he truly considers the Bridge his home now.

Katanagatari 5: I liked the battle a lot. It wasn't fancy moves that you can't see, but that he was simply stronger. The "don't touch my woman" line was fitting. They really go out of their way to make scenes sexual. I can't imagine having someone step on my head. Sneaky move from the pirate - hard to imagine when the guy helping them board seems so nice.

Uh... I'm pretty sure it hasn't even hit JP theaters yet. So it'll be a while.

Speaking of which, watched Summer Wars tonight (well, last night now...). Was a lot of fun; I'm looking forward to picking it up if/when it gets licensed.

Ichiban... I'm a few episodes behind, but...

It has way too much fanservice for my tastes, and I'm watching the censored version. Why do I keep watching, then? Korone. It's worth it for Korone.

Mayoi Neko Overrun 7:
Eh... I guess I was supposed to start caring about the characters at some point. I'm not sure whether to blame poor character development or the characters just didn't appeal to me. Even if they did though, I think episode 7 is a bit too early to be doing a 100% joke episode. Considering dropping.

As a sidenote, I don't know what Nozomi brings to the table. She has no personality and is cat-like for absolutely no reason. Maybe she's there just to balance out the bombastic nature of the other two girls? Not to say that she isn't a little cute, but I don't know why she's in this anime at all.

I love this anime. They're good at hilarious montages. Too bad about Yui and that pole. I don't know why they bother shooting when she's aware they're there, it *still* does nothing except waste bullets and grenades. Wonder what'll happen to Tenshi next...
