Joko's Ninja Exchange rewards!

Tao of Sight confirmed from Firebrand badges.

Also Isaac, remove Raven Bandana from Stormbreaker, I made a mistake when I posted at first, now you have it under both. xD

So its looking like the 3 different Tao come from the different badges. It could be some time before anyone has an Unbalanced Fury. lol

I think prose likes pineappleing with us. Him saying getting the stars were a "fair challenge" while it took over a week for ONE of the three taos to appear from ALL the servers is too much of a "fair challenge". Not to mention that you still need 100 BC crystals and the other two taos. I swear, the keep better have "halls" dedicated to having since guild monsters spawn or else raven weapons, badges, taos, etc will be IMPOSSIBLE to get into the market en masse. I mean damn, JMS had tengu drop ribgols.

Maybe we should encourage nexon to make their creations easy since they have a habit of making challenges impossible. They'd make easy things a challenge. xD

Alright, got it up to date.

lol. Yeah NcProse is telling porkies again and misleading us. They sure have a strange sense of what is a "fair challenge" and fun. CK is no fun at all for me.

They're doing that on purpose, genius. I think it's nice that they're rewarding people who work hard with these weapons and stars rather than those who just buy their way through the game.

I think that the extreme challenge for getting the stars is good. The difficulty of making the star makes it so no one can really be a dmg whore with them.

Lol! So apparently you WANT Hemits and NLs running around with 30 atk stars and super powered dexless claws. This is completely fair for people. Collect badges. Turn em in and pray to god that you get a Tao.

Duh. Why am i the only one that thinks this is a little too extreme? I would be jumping for joy if it had this kind of rarity but only if the monsters could actually be trained at. Then i wouldn't mind training at stormbreakers for my sexy raven's wing. Windraiders destroy any map they're on as a training spot, and hunting for stormbreaker badges is hard enough. It took me 4 hours to find 5 badges with METEO, and i needed 10 for the quest. Extreme TO THE MAX.

Apparently, i want a raven's wing. :O I don't give a flying pineapple about sins. :O Either way, it's going to be expensive as hell and you and i both know that you can get a higher attack skanda for cheaper. The way it is now though, it's impossible to find even ONE of these things on the market.

As far as the stars go, one attack isn't going to be worth the billions/hundreds of millions of mesos you'd have to shell out to get one. The only reason i would ever consider buying one at that price is if i had all of my other equipment as powerful as they could get, because i would definitely be able to squeeze out 1 att otherwise by upgrading SOMETHING.

IMO, these taos rarities are a bit extreme. Other classes can use them, not just sins...

sure you may get the most expensive piece of weaponry with all 3, but what about those who want a weapon for their class? they can't even THINK of upgrading that shiny new weapon they got without looking for countless hours of their playtime...

I think they should be dropable from the monsters (probably are but rare as everything else) OR make the badges more accesible (and thusly increasing the chances of getting one. How the heck do people even get 50 of these things? I went to night and wind thinges and i got 2 badges the whole hour i was there... The fricken badge quest for the storm breakers took me 2 DAYS)

Goodluck to you all. Hopefully we can get more badges faster... at the rate we have now. It will be near impossible to get a level 90 raven weapon....

I can agree with this to some extent. I mean, as far as assassins are concerned this rarity is good but it's another one of those cases where the damage-hungry assassins are going to be ruining it for every other class. They should just make it so that the claws and stars need a completely different type of item.

Yeah, badges are way too rare, and the reward percentages really suck. I farmed up 150 windraider badges, 50 nightshadow badges, and 50 stormbreaker badges in hours and hours of meteoring cavern of valor, and all I got to show for it was a silver crow and mesos >_>

I'll probably farm stormbreakers in the cave with jack in it on friday, hopefully I can find something not as crappy.

yeah, the reward % kinda sucks =/
It's not hard to get the badges though xP
40 NightShadow, 50 stormbreakers, & 83 windraider badges in 2 hours w/ 2x drop on.

I completely agree. >.> I just want to forge a crimson arcglaive since I collect polearms and it looks awesome. Tongue I need two taos in order to do so though, and with all these NLs who want taos to make stars or the dexless claw, it just costs so much for a weapon I'd probably never use. T_T Not to mention the ridiculous amount of crimson firewoods needed to forge the crimson weapons. I've been hunting on the path of strength on 2x drop for days and I found 12 crimson firewoods. o.O Even with 2x drop, the trees don't drop them often.

With 2x dropRolleyes

I've been killing things, and they never seem to drop 0_O

Still increasing the droprate a smidge would be better Tongue

Uh, the way they made it, it looks like people are going to be buying everything to get the new stuff...

Could someone tell me what is the level requirement for that subsequent quest after The Fallen Woods? I'm lvl 102, and have done all of those quests available so far and yet I can't get to do that map quest...

You need to deliver Jack's letter to John, then go back to Jack and use the "ETC" option to tell him what John wants to say in reply.

The quests might be a little confusing because you have to use their "ETC" scripts a lot (which is related to the way they changed the quest data) and some of them (Like John's) are deceptively named.

But Jack doesn't give me a letter, I've spoken to him numerous times, and yea, using the etc thingy... :S

EDIT: Jack says to ask John first, then when I go to John, he only says something about the artifacts... No ETC option available on neither NPC chat...
