Recovering red draco

Not sure if someone asked before, i couldnt find anything.
So my friend got hacked and hacker droped the saddle, is there any way to get it back?

I mean, okay, I can "understand" hacking other people's accounts, since you gain something.

But dropping a saddle...that's just a low blow.

Why didn't they make these things locked to the character? What possible function does dropping a mount saddle serve in-game that they thought "we'd better keep this droppable"?

Unless i'm mistaken, wasn't there a quest for people to reclaim the saddle that involved getting ridiculous items like 200 dark yeti skins from jr yetis? I know it allowed people to get the saddle for their pigs, and stuff. Anyone who frequented the quest kings thread might remember this.

I remember that one topic where somebody dropped the mount stuff on a retired character and got the quest for the first mount again, though I am not sure if that applies to Red Draco's quest or if it is the same thing.

I'm not entirely sure about other classes, but Evan sure does have 3 quests to re-obtain the saddles. Still, it makes no sense altogether.
