Shoddy Log Thread
So... started tonight and after several losses I won two! Last one was due to hax though... so it doesn't count.

Only downfall of Trace is Gastro Acid, but not many teams have that.

Using original team, 'nother ragequit.

Damn. Wish I had saved a log that I got a Mudkip sweep in. I love playing with troll teams now.

Is Muddy Water even legal with the Evasion clause in play?

3rd gen hax-game:

>Gardy "Traces" Vapy's/Jolty's "Water/Volt Absorb" ability
>Other player does not notice
>Gardy uses "Mean Look"
>Vapy/Jolty does NOT have BP
>Gardy CMs
>Vapy/Jolty uses Surf / T-bolt
>Gardy absorbs damage&convert2heal
>Jolty / Vapy attacks with HP-something a couple of times
>Gardy's HP gets low
>Gardy uses "Rest"
>Recovers HP + status ailment
>Gardy CMs til = +6
>Gardy sweeps with Psychic until Ttar/anything Dark comes out

Tldr Gardy only gets f*cked with anything Dark. I've used this against SkarmBliss too, f*cked up Blissey because it lowers her spe. def if I get lucky with Psychic.

Evasion Clause is not Accuracy Clause. Accuracy debuffs aren't as broken because you can switch out of them.

Only problem is that you practically never find anyone using Shedinja to begin with.

And double-battles don't exist on Shoddy. It's going to be hard to use Trace on a Shedinja.. if you can't find one.

I use it on both my teams, but then my teams are for UU, not OU, so Gardevoir is never an enemy.

Actually, Gardevoir is NU. (No wonder it's never an enemy... ha ha...)

Really? Holy pomegranate, I wonder when that happened...

Ever since the new UU shift. I think people usually find Pory2 to be the superior Tracer since as far as I can tell, physical > special, so pory's higher physical tanking ability wins.

I think I've only lost like 5 times out of like 3x battles on this team so far, then again, I've monitored and revised it pretty often. I love my Jirachi, it makes my team complete and enables me to hit even floating Electric-types.

[FONT=&quot]Thanks for the match too! 5-0. I'm surprised I even got a 5-0.

Taunt/Encore/etc would've destroyed Cradiliy :/
Reply
Exactly. Most people don't realize that Cradily can be easily crushed by using Taunt or Encore. It's pretty easy, but most people won't have Encore. Taunt can sometimes be expected from Ttar, but that set isn't as great as it was back during 3rd gen. I use it mostly as a tank, but I don't pull it out til I see half of the team from the other person, so I can predict when to pull it out.
