HP washing questions for all classes
#1
Im sorry if this is a dumb thread, but I need this information. Everyone is aware that you can use INT equips while leveling to increase the INT gain when you level up. 1 extra MP per 10 INT. So my question is this;

How much INT from INT gear would the following classes need when leveling from 10 to 140 to have max HP with HB?

Aran
Warrior (all three kinds)
Buccaneer

and the same thing for the following classes, but instead of having max HP the amount of HP needed is just to take a hit or two from skeles;

Thieves (both kinds, and dual blader if that information is available)
Hunters (both kinds)
Corsairs

The reason im asking for all this is because Im investing in my own set of INT gear. I know that warriors dont require alot of extra INT from INT gear when leveling to reach the goal I set, but I want to make sure my INT gear is suitable for the other classes as well. So I need to know if I should shoot for like 140 int gear, more than that, or what. Thanks alot for the help guys, I appreciate it Smile

After ~50 washes i only have 10.1k HP base at level 163. To HP wash and have 18k base HP by level 140 would require at least 160+ int.

Judging from your info under your picture, your post pertains to the Buccs correct? This is helpful, thank you for this piece of information =] Since the buccs get your imp HP skill thing in second job, it would require more washes than a warrior who has a more potent HP increasing ability and also gets it in 1st job.

Im getting a good idea how much INT ill need, but I'd still like the info on the rest of the classes to be sure

You're better off just half blooding a bucc. That would mean you have to spend much less on int equips and much less NX.

For a warrior to have max HP at level 140, they need to wash (DK/Paladin) 180 times, assuming they use MoN and Adventurer medal (200hp). 173 times for a Hero since they get more base HP.

Leveling 130 times with int gear, you need a total of 5.5 spare MP per level, so 50 total int should guarantee it.

For an Aran to have max HP at level 140, they need to wash 380 times. Average of 9.4 spare MP per level, so 90 total int would be enough.

Thank you very much stereo, that is very informative.

I also have another question now. In WoW there are terms called "hard cap" and "soft cap". Hard cap is a term used to describe a stat that is maxed physically in the game, and it cannot go any further(an example for hard cap in MS is the 30k health maximum). Soft cap is used to describe a certain point where you CAN keep stacking a certain stat, but doing so wont be as effective as stacking a stat that isnt at soft cap.

In explaining that, what is the HP "soft cap" for the other classes I listed? How much health is sufficient to fight pink bean?

int 50 for warriors
90 for aran
360 for thief&hunter and 267 at least but cost more
240 for bucc
400 for consair and also 267 at least
for blade...I've no idea

by my hp washing calculator.
I don't know whether there is any difference between CMS and other servers but I think it's the same.

Judging from what you said, I think you're saying I need at least 50 int from gear to reach my goal with a warrior, and 90 int for an aran.

Then 360 extra Int for thief and hunter, using 267 resets?

Im not sure what you mean by the bucc lol

and 400 int for corsair, with 267 resets as well?

I didn't quite understand =P if you could clarify for me that would be great

bucc=buccaneer
267 int at least means that it will be easier to train levels by yourself with less int than 360, but cost more NX in AP-reset.

267 might be a limit and 360 is the best cost--about 1500 resets.

I can hardly describe that how it works with low int and wash hp to 18750 because of my bad English...
and also sorry for that...something wrong with my pc.tryying to use mobile browser now...XD sleepy.

would it be too much to ask for you to post the calculator? I would like to see how many washes it would take to get around 8-9k hp on a shadower and how much int would be required at around the 17x area. If you cannot show the calculator please try to answer i believe dual blade has the same formula as shadower so ill aim for that.

For Thief/Archer/Aran >> http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=16313

The latest Aran version I made could probably easily be modified to work for a warrior/pirate, but I never got around to doing it. (Mostly because I don't play a warrior/pirate so I have no motivation to do it. Biggrin Maybe I'll do it someday...)

it is said that dual blade has a Min.Mp of 0...so you have to limit a min.Mp of a dual blade after hp washing.
a Hp 30000 Mp 0 dual blade can do nothing.

errr...any other limit to level (0.0)

job:thief level:10 HP:344 MP:163 base int:4 AP:33

err..you should put Ap into Int before level 38 so that you have an total int of 174
int gears will make it earlier

when you have 174 int, do mp washes: put 1 Ap into Mp,and reset Mp to luk.
it is calculated you need to do mp washing about 253 times until level 87

then= =reset your mp to hp until mp reach the min. it takes about 355 resets.
now you have a thief of 8000HP and 1360MP.reset int to 4 if you are satisfied.
253+355+174-4=778 resets.

i don't know how to upload the calculator or post images...
It is a C# program written by me. only for myself=w=and hard to use.
but it saves me a lot of cash..........really~

Hmmm would it be impossible to get that hp without doing that method? What if i just wore int gears and washed like normal? Also if possible how much int do i need to wear? Remember i'm aiming for 8k around the 17x area not level 87 :/ That method would take far too much nx and time >_>

int 140,wash 204 times
to level 179,hp 8034
int 160,wash 215 times totally
to level 170,hp 8034

It shows that you need 140~160 int with gears to reach the goal.

It is unbelievable to do hp washing without mp wash in CMS,because we have 25% more level-up-EXP than other servers.
so it's really hard to train a lv.150+ chara...

Thanx a lot. I really hope this is correct. Final question, if i just put my lvl up points into INT that should help shave off a lot of the INT i'd need on equips ah? I would of course wash them out later but jwing if i could just put 160 base int and not use any int equips at all. Also the leveling aspect isn't a problem, with royal body guard out 4xing it should be easy leveling around the 12-15x area (using suicide leech method of course).
