Dual Blade damage clarification
#1
Ok, I was reading JoeTang's thread up there about dual blade mechanics and I need some help. I saw he posted the formula for finding the range of a dual blade;

Minimum Damage = (3.6 * 0.9 * Mastery * LUK + STR + DEX / 100) * WA
Maximum Damage = (3.6 * LUK + STR + DEX / 100) * WA

But now my question is, does this range determine the damage of ALL the dual blade's attacking skills? Or are there a few skills for the dual blader that act like Lucky Seven? (affected more by LUK)?

And also another question I have about the formula, this section here confuses me; (3.6 * LUK + STR + DEX / 100)

Does the Luk + Str + Dex part mean that 1 point of Str or 1 point of Dex will give as much of a damage increase as 1 point of Luk? Also just for clarification, can I get the Str to w. Atk, Dex to w. Atk, and Luk to w. Atk conversion formulas for thieves please? Thank you Smile

I'm assuming this is the same as the dagger formula, its (3.6* luk) + str + dex, so one point in luk is equal to 3.6 points in strength or dexderity.

? I'm not sure what you mean by this, the formulas for assasins throwing stars and bandits with daggers are the same as dual blades formula if thats what you mean.

Otherwise, theres no way to get an accurate Str= blahblahblah, dex = blahblahblah, luk=... where blahblahblha is just numbers, because they all depend on one another for maximum and minimum damage

Garrr! got ninja'd while i checked for a typo D:

it's ((3.6 * LUK) + STR + DEX )/ 100

not (3.6 * (LUK + STR + DEX) )/ 100

So luk affects you 3.6 times more than str or dex.

Sorry about that, fixed the brackets.

1 str = 1 dex
1 luk/1 dex = 3.6*(1+0.9*mastery)/2 in avrage

seem to be 2.772 when 60% mastery

1 watt./1 luk=(total luk+(dex+str)/the result above)/ total watt

1 Watt/1 dex=(1 watt/1 luk)*(1 luk/1 dex)
meaningless..
