Not much really. They got the design for Kotone and just drew her with the starters. They have images of the starters, they don't realyl need to see them in action to get an idea of how they'd look like in poses and stuff.

"Unfortunately, Pokemon do not follow you any more. The upside to this however is that instead of HM type moves, Pokemon have a talent along with an ability. You still need to beat gyms to use certain talents, so you can't catch a bird Pokemon and use fly right away.
A new talent called "Saddled" allows you to ride certain Pokemon at the speed of a Bike, with the added benefit of making your Pokemon grow more friendly. As for HM moves with good usage in battle, they have become TM moves, so you can still hide using Fly.

Tons of new pictures on Serebii right now. I've really changed my mind on Wotter thanks to the in-game pictures, but Smugleaf is still my favorite no matter how I look at it.




The city we've been seeing, Hiun City, looks pretty cool from the new pictures. The bridge among the new pictures could likely be in Hiun City also, and that seems pretty cool looking too.




Can't wait until we see better quality scans of CoroCoro so we can get a full translation of everything and examine everything more thoroughly.

Hiun city? Sounds like Chinese. Interesting. I'd sh`it bricks if they named cities after the 4 legendary Gods though.. Or if there were new legendaries for:

• Qīng Lóng — Seiryuu (The Azure Dragon, representing Spring and Wood) to the East
  
• Zhū Què — Suzaku (The Vermillion Phoenix, representing Summer and Fire) to the South
  
• Bái Hǔ — Byakko (The White Tiger, representing Autumn and Metal) to the West
  
• Xuán Wǔ — Genbu (The Black Turtle, representing Winter and Water) to the North
  
• Huáng Lóng (only in original Chinese version) (The Yellow Dragon of the Center, representing the Changing Seasons and Earth) to the Center

But how would these be triggered? the DS clock? it would be kinda tedious to wait for a season, and changing the date on your DS would take the fun out of it, I think its a nice idea though.

We also need day pokemon and month pokemon and Zodiac(chinese and the other one) Pokemon. Season pokemon would work if every City is in a different climate. Fall pokemon evolves around Ecruteak Winter in Snowpoint, Spring in Floaroma, Summer in slateport. Zodiac pokemon would work on a 12 day cycle where the 1st day of the cycle you talk to an NPC and he tells you the horoscope with little hints on the order and then you can evolve the pokemon. Lets say gemini, is the first of the cycle and he tells you its in a city where the old bathe in volcanic water (w/e) you go there and you can evolvle Gem, into Geminite a Fire/psychic pokemon.

I was thinking Electric/Flying in the case of the Vermillion phoenix you mentioned, but the situation regarding that typing is even worse. Really hoping that we get a non-legend Electric/Flying Pokemon this gen.

EDIT: And a non-legend Ice/Flying that isn't terrible, at that.
