Pokémon Black and White versions

Well, they outdid themselves this time. They made starters that look worst than the 3rd Gen starters.

Fire ain't that bad. Water one looks stupid. Grass, meh.

I guess I'll also go with the Fire starter. Or maybe the Water one since no-one will pick that one.
The water one looks like a platypus bottom and a snowman head, combined with a shell on his body.
Fire-type looks like a fire pig, like people said before.
Grass-type, I don't know what it is. I just know that there is a bird in real life with a beak that looks like his nose/mouth.

Fire is way too happy. No fire pokemon should be that happy.

I love the grass and fire ones. The water one looks like a clown. What the hell?

Edit: They are a grass snake (with legs), fire pig, and sea otter. Sounds cool. I just hope the evolutions look nice. 4th gen was terrible as far as evolved forms go.

Grass looks awesome, and seconding what Sarah said about the fire starter, haha.

Man, the water starter was such a let down. It was pretty clear to us that it was likely going to be an otter, and I imagine it being more like this:




These all were so much better than the real thing. Why does it like a clown? The coloring feels kind of weird to me too: the light blue/white-ish coloring on the hands and face seem kind of weird to me. Then the egg-shaped bright orange nose and the head overall kill it for me.

As for the player characters, I'm really digging them. The male character was much nicer than I expected. Characters designs are looking pretty solid here. Though I wonder: what IS with the girl's pants?

The more I look at them, the more I find little features that make them awesome.

Fire Pig has a yellow nose, which means evolutions may be colors other than just red, which is a plus for me, but I expect it to become a boar.
Water Otter has the MOST adorable shell on its stomach, and little ear/horns which can lead into a lot of variation.
Grass Snake-thing has that smug look which makes me think its evolutions will prove to be sweet, plus it has a vest on with yellow spikes for a collar.

The name for the new region also intrigues me, Isshu. But what I want to know more about is the Shiny Dog event which unlocks a Zoroark that transforms into the three starters.

The Grass starter is one of the coolest starters I have ever seen (hell,it kinda looks like Flygon). Fire and water look ridiculous. I guess I'll be breaking my fire-starting cycle.

Hurray for the girl character being older so it isn't considered child molest if I decide to fap....wait a second.
