Nope, not since Gen I.

Poison's not that bad. It is the worst type offensively, but it's probably the third best type defensively, after Dragon and Steel. It's got all the useful resistances of Flying except Ground, plus resistance to itself, without the three big weaknesses to Rock, Ice, and Electric. It's also immune to Poison status and absorbs Toxic Spikes. The weakness to Ground is usually canceled out by dual typing or Levitate, and Psychic weakness is pretty easy to ignore.

Corocoro scans. I love the new Pokémon, trainers and special effects. If that's Flamethrower it's awesome, if that's Ember it's insanely awesome. I hope the Fire starter is more defensive, as it's the only one on four legs (which is usualle defense based, whole those on two have more speed and attack). Also, older player characters. DO WANT.

Starters look hella ugly.

Character artwork looks great, and so do the town/region.

Here's hoping the evolutions look better.

The grass starter looks like a an uglier version of treecko.
Fire? Spoink's already been done.
Water looks like a sad clown piplup with disgusting legs.

I really like the Fire one(it's smile reminds me of Mudkip, so do the ears remind me of Mudkips fin), the other two are kind of weird. They'll probably grow on you over time though.

The city looks huge. Hopefully it'll be huge ingame too (though from what we've seen so far it's not that big, maybe a bit bigger than Saffrom/Goldenrod/Jubilife).

I will now stare at everything on that scane until my eyes start to bleed or if there isn't anymore to see.

The fire looks alright, but it resembles spoink/grumpig ALOT.

I need to see evolutions. That water starter does not appeal at all to me. That grass starter looks badass.

The grass starter is the best lookig one in my opinion, the water one is weird and the fire one is just bizarre o.0
