Glitching or not glitching?
This is what most people think of these days in Yellonde. People think that killing Bigfoot with the skill Shadow Web or Poison Mist is glitch abuse due to the fact that you're gaining 2 660 000 experience in 40 seconds. For most people, this is not an issue, as it is, in fact, hard to find a Bigfoot on all servers... but Yellonde. Since Yellonde is a new server, Bigfoots can be killed for good experience. Saying the first person to be able to kill a Bigfoot is more than 1 hour and 30 minutes in front of the next person being able to kill them, this person would be able to gain the rather low amount of
1106.56 million experience (2 660 000 * 2x card * 2x event * 8 maps * 13 channels). If this person managed to get this far on Monday, he would have doubled that amount of experience (I.e. 2.2 billion experience, all in 1 hour and 10 minutes).
So, what is 1.1 billion experience? It's the amount of experience you need to get from level 70 to level 129. This is relatively fast, considering you'll be able to get this in, estimating you're using 60 seconds per Bigfoot, 104 minutes. And yeah, I know that you will lose some amount of experience by starting from 70, but by the time you're 83 or so (read, 7 bigfoots, less than one channel), Bigfoot will gain you maximum experience.
So, is this the definition of glitching? No, not really. Obviously, assuming the game was
(keep in mind, I do not confirm nor deny what it is) intended to be in this way, there's nothing wrong with this. It just sounds unfair, and, from a game designer's point of view, is unfair and makes the game unbalanced and not be fun for everyone.
(No, this is not biased, this is fact. The general majority of players will say that having certain classes leveling 100 times faster than others will be unfair. It makes the game unbalanced (not saying that it wasn't), and it makes some people having less fun than others.)
Let's check the arguments for and against that Nexon intended to make this happen. Assume Against is against the use of poison mist/shadow web (let's say specifically the last part) and For has no issues with this.
Quote from NxProse
For (killing BF with poison): His statement says that the bosses were intended to be poisonable.
Against (glitching): His statement is blurry, and doesn't really answer the question (or, more exact, sentence).
For: Last sentences says that the boss (it's called mob in the answer, but this is most likely just a phrase for monsters + bosses) was intended to be poisonable. If this way of doing it is not working properly, they will change the way the boss works, without any rollback nor banning of people taking advantage of this boss.
Against: Noone said that Shadow Web were intended to deal damage to this boss, besides, the reply were in plural, not in singular, as in one boss. Also, mob is usually a group of something, in this case, monsters.
For: Noone said that Shadow Web weren't.

Against shows picture of the information about Masteria:
For: The picture doesn't display the boss. Nexon could have set the boss as another boss. Or, you could assume that they didnt set it up as a boss because that would automatically make it immune to poison.
Against: That doesnt make sense. It would be much easier for them to make pin it as a boss, make it weak to poison and neutral/physical damage resistant (yes, this is possible. Pink Bean), and buffing up the experience a little.

Against: No, its not. pineapple you, you make no sense1!=!!!
For: no u 2@22@@

So, funnily enough, noones right. With the right brainpower, you could say that bigfoot is a glitch. You could say it isnt. We just have to wait for a response from Nexon
STATING that the boss is either supposed to be like this or that the boss
IS NOT supposed to be like this.
My input is this:
Nexon did not intend to make a level 77 player to use a skill (which is used for catching monsters, making them unable to move and is not supposed to deal damage. Or, for killing normal monsters, not bosses, in 40 seconds) to gain one fourth of the experience needed for levelling to 200 from 199 (well see realistically on it, 500 mill/hr with 2x cards and no events going on). NxProses reply seems to be blurry, but hes saying mobs as in plural groups of monsters, not a single monster. The picture for the Crimsonwood Expansion is saying that theres a new boss coming out, whereas the only monster I can consider as a new boss is Bigfoot. Finally, TiaraYellond said that all glitchers will be banned.
This is just logic thinking, and Id like to see a reasonable way of thinking the other way, that this is supposed to happen.
