I'm not actually sure if you can get it elsewhere, but my American friend had never seen it in America. I know you can get it in Australia, but there's not a lot our two countries DON'T share. And New Zealand invented it, anyway.

Those are neither jubes nor gummies. They are wine gums, which are like gummies but harder. They are delicious. A pavlova is made with egg, it has a thin and crispy shell and the inside is like meringue, but softer and fluffier. Traditionally it is coated in cream and will generally have strawberries on top.
