SuperSwordAction.com - A new DFO forum contender
#1
One of our forum members, Spaz (aka LHCGreg), has decided to start his own website for DFO - SuperSwordAction.com. The site is named such due to a hilarious video posted on Youtube about Dungeon Fighter's portrayal at the World Cyber Games where the commentators of the game had never seen Dungeon Fighter before in their lives.

The site features:
  • Wiki with all skill information automatically generated
  • A present administrator
  • Wicked fast & optimized server.
  • The same desire to learn about inner game mechanics that Southperry has come to love

I would encourage anyone here to support Spaz in his new vBulletin website by signing up at SuperSwordAction.com. And thank you very much for the support.

I still haven't gotten into DFO yet. Kinda don't want to find myself sucked into another MMO, but it does seem pretty fun. Sometimes I dive into the DFO forums and just peek around, so I'll probably check this out every now and then.

Why not make it a two-way affiliation and put a button somewhere?

edit: like so

just as a drop down.

With Sarah on this. However, I'd also recommend a 2nd option. You know how when you browse a webpage, sometimes, there are affiliates listed either on the bottom left or right hand side? Something similar to this (but there's no affiliates listed here) (put affiliates to either left or right hand side, near the bottom) or at the very bottom of the page, such as seen from here.

I was gonna suggest that but since this is a site that's literally -only- forums with no home page, there's no where it could fit. The drop down is the only sensible place I could think without it smooshing up the rest of the forums.

I never understood affiliations and I still don't. I'm not making any affiliation links.

Affiliations can benefit both parties if both of you advertise for each other. Of course, this also has a potential to attract unwanted members.

It's just reciprocal linking, what's to understand? :f6:

Grats again Spazzzzzzzz Big Grin I 100% support this, and I'm not even a DFO'er Tongue (Well okay, I didn't play it at the time of posting)

Also, I don't see the point of affiliations either. They're just a potential source of drama best stayed away from.

I agree. A lot of Sleepywood drama has revolved around affiliations. I don't think we need more of that here.
