Looks like E3 is right around the corner. I always forget about it. I don't know why. Every year it feels like it just happened only a couple of months ago.

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm disappointed in this year's lineup. I was hoping that Sony would at least flaunt their silly motion controller, but they wouldn't even do that! We don't even have ONE exclusive being revealed or discussed! Just some stupid third-party game. There's nothing going on over in the Xbox's corner aside from terrible rehashes of Gears of War, Halo, and Fable, and of course that "Project Natal" gimmick. I've been keeping an eye on Dragon's Nest so it's nice to see that it'll be covered at E3.

I'm really looking forward to seeing some gameplay from Castlevania, though. God, I don't think there's been a single decent console-based Castlevania in the history of the franchise. I really hope they blow us away with this one, but I can't help but imagine it being terrible given Konami's previous console screwups.

Only worthwhile game seems like Scribblenauts 2, and perhaps Gears of War 3 and Dead Space 2, along with Project Natal. Maaaaaayyyybe that Avatar game.

From the looks of this list, it doesn't look like I'll be getting any (non)work from my old job like I did in '09 and '07. Yay for populating servers .

To be honest, I've personally given up on new games these days. There's often very few gems out there each year and so much crap in between. I'd just assume finish my archives and go back and do it again the way the industry as a whole has been headed lately. Well, I suppose that and I do buy ports.


BTW, is the E for All still going on or did they cancel it right after the first year or so. (For those who don't know, it was the public replacement of E3 after it went press conference).
