I'm sorry it took so long to get a video uploaded. The lag at Time Temple made it so freaking unbearable, and it still is... It took forever to finally get a decent video (I still screwed up MAJORLY with my control), but for the sake of showing the updated skills, this works enough. =/

I'm VERY sorry for the part that I bolded. =/ I don't know how to fix this problem at all.

ShiKage Wrote:First of all, I would like to apologize for my lack of control. I haven't really touched my character (training-wise) since November, so my technique is a bit... rusty. I'm also not quite used to the newest skill updates. Also, I'm very sorry for the quality of the video. For some reason, Fraps is recording everything with a VERY pixelated quality for some reason. I can't figure out why. I've messed with all of the settings and it keeps doing it.
Moving on, the skill updates from the Balance Patch are of the following :
■Buccaneer
・Energy Charge
Energy Charge's stance success rate was improved.
・Energy Buster
Energy Buster's Attack Range was increased.
At a certain success rate, a stun effect was added.
■Viper
・Rapid Fist
Rapid Fist's attack range was increased.
・Dragon Strike
Dragon Strike's cast time was decreased.
Now, about the skill updates... I did manage to show the distance of Rapid Fist (Barrage) in this video, but I didn't really get a good shot of it. I also showed the stun effect from Energy Blast, but I didn't manage to get a critical off of it (or maybe I did with Screw Punch, but not with Dragon Strike). The Dragon Strike change is apparent, but unlike previous assumptions, there isn't 100% invulnerability while training (what a shame). In fact, the only way to stay untouched is to only use Dragon Strike (or any single attack) and Screw Punch. As soon as you break that chain, you're very vulnerable to attacks. To be honest, there really isn't a big enough change from before to make this Balance Patch as good as everyone expected it to be for Vipers. Let's just hope the next Balance Patch (That is, if Nexon Korea even keeps up their promise) actually gives Vipers a decent boost. The current one is quite disappointing.Once again, I'm very sorry if I didn't present the skill updates to your liking. With the mass amount of lag, it was very difficult to even move. The skill updates really aren't much and they really didn't affect how well a Viper can train or boss (though, there is a slight DPS upgrade with the new Dragon Strike). I only hope you enjoyed what I presented.
This may or may not be my final MapleStory video.
