What Maple Can Do : Make Cash Items.

Well, there are so few items that can make use of the Platinum Karma Scissors so I think that's a smart move, especially for these buffed out items. The EXP double seems very reasonable too. But you'll quit Maple because we're getting new incredibly hard bosses? At least one of them is manageable so this should be more exciting rather annoying. Sure, I want a few dozen more continents with anything but recolored monsters but it's clear that either won't happen for a long time or ever so may as well enjoy what crumbles fall from the cookie.

While there's always the line of profit and greedyness (Where you go after the money SO MUCH that you end up screwing everything else), the chaos equips/bosses aren't in that frame. Sure, they want to make money, but in this case, Platinum makes sense. Those equips are groundbreaking, and would need something harder to earn to make them tradeable. Like a downside.

Making platinum scissors required to trade them is good as far as I'm concerned.
1) They aren't untradeable.
2) This secures a minimum meso value for them, prevents a major deflation of item value past a certain point.
3) Ensures some way to safely trade the rewards from groups bossing.

And there isn't anything wrong with a "hard mode" within reason of existing bosses, I think horntail here might be over the top, but zakum should be difficult but doable.

im not sure how bera works... but from what ive seen in scania and bello, people sell helms for the price of a karma + barley any profit. its not uncommon to find skillbooks and helms under 30m in FM. MoN's are chump change to sell. given how hard the new HT will probably be, i can see most people blowing it off and not caring. Regular horntail is still great money in bellocan. as a mage im interested in gaining the few extra MA, overall though i think the pendant needs to be buffed up a bit to get people interested in dropping a MoN.

while i'd like to think the items costing more to scissor will help, you'll probably see the same noob price killing you do now. the only real hope is that in some smaller servers chaos zakum will be too strong for these people to kill so a few main squads can keep prices inflated to a "fair" price. making you buy PSOK vs SOK is just a money grab for nexon, i dont see how it offers any help to players. :/

if nexon wanted to help make players stronger, how about just opening up the additional egg slot(s)? chaos HT just seems like a push to get high levels/maple addicts to spend even more nx on washing, wheels, etc...

KMS needs a higher lvl contents. Time temple isnt enough. They need a place to train. LVL 160~200.
But all they make is cash items like gambling stuff and new jobs.

First of all, relax. MAYBE, just MAYBE, they want to give the game a bit more of variety, class-wise, before upping the overall level. The engi (I refuse to call him mechanic. Engi is way cooler), maybe, has a buff that makes your party immune to DR. Then, a training spot with DR in it. Or something original among those lines.

After all, even if you play the same class (NL for me!) it's always nice to see variety in your party.

For all we know, they might be trying to release all classes first, before touching the old ones. There's so much to do in this game... Maybe add quest skills, that don't need SP, but quest chains to max, new beginner skills, transformations, double jumping, etc...

For example, dragon rider pq. It's a good PQ. A FANTASTIC one in fact. I didn't have that much fun in a while. DR is possible to avoid, if you are seduced, right clicking the fly skill can save your life, you are FLYING. And the 20 second cooldown for pots in the finale is quite epic. I relied on drain and the healer, while a buccaneer pinned it. Teamwork at its best!


The only thing I see that needs a bit more development is role specialities. Like mages being useful at bosses in something. Like with slow, but something else... A shame the only important bosses are stationary.

Sure Nexon doesn't do its best, but at least, they are releasing some variety in the game, and that's not bad yet... Unless they are pay to play stuff. Then, start fearing...

The way Nexon is trying to make money is just @#$%. MapleStory itself (+new content) is okay. Nexon made it, but at the same time they ruined it.
