Cake Vs. Pie: Fail Event. GG Nexon.

Another would be to say that you need less than two victories a day, each preceded by donating 401 cake/pie pieces, to get that chair.

Not that I have a chance. Those towns lag me even when they're empty.
I wish the bosses spawned at random, in all towns, like two years ago.

Well, the fact that I wanted to get each of the chairs on two character means that would be impossible. So I am screw on getting chairs once again. Fun.

Plus, Nexon for some reason likes making event chairs untradable.

On a side note, I was genuinely looking forward to this event, it looked promising. Team based boss battles? yes please. Awesome prize list? You read my mind, Nexon.

Too bad they had to foul it up, as usual.

I was also dissapointed this annaversary, no 2X events, they just offered it to people that have been away for 3+ months in the form of rings in hopes that they would draw people back to the game, and that the effect rings could be adding to the already severe lag caused by people spamming ultimates on the bosses, this has caused me to disconnect every time no matter where in the town i stood.

I am starting to like this event now. In Scania the town becomes closed if there are too many people in the town.
This event may actually become possible in Scania, instead of the channel crashing every time it got to 100%.

In the rare occurrence I can even get on MapleStory thanks to my wonderful schedule, none of the towns even have a boss ready to spawn. This means I can't even join the lagfest so... =/ I kind of wish this event worked a little differently. If they made it like a mini-dungeon, the boss is already spawned (time limit of like 10 minutes or something like the Neo City bosses), but jack up the number of insignias needed or change the prizes to be not-so-market-breaking then maybe the chairs could be gotten, which if I understand it right, are more valued than white scrolls. Or, that's my view.

If you're a pie, your chances at even getting close to a chair are pretty sucky.. Im going to be lucky to even get ONE of the chairs, and half my bl already has like 20-30 insignias if they are a cake. I got FOUR being a pie.

I was seriously thinking of coming back, too, but the utter frustration people seem to be dealing with on the forums made me see that Nexon hasn't gotten any better. Maybe next time...

Thanks for posting that. Here I was with my 20/insignia hypothesis thinking I had to collect 11k...I was going to collect 11k and turn them all in at once, and that would've been bad.

So for someone lazy like me, 100 cakes would suffice, but with 75 victories.

After d/cing like 3 times and "not participating" in the event, I decided to hide in a corner until other people kill the boss. Then I get my insignias :3 only 12, I have a feeling there wont be many of those chairs..

This is what I'm doing. Maple crashes any time I try to fight the bosses... so I just collect 401 cakes, turn it in and AFK away from the crowd until the battle is over. It's cheap but better than doing all that work for nothing.

I am having a problem with the Event. I had got the Pie medal from talking to the Maple admind the first time. then i dropped the medal and got a cake one from Pie Lord Tiara (yah messed up)

Today in the morning, i was trying to help my friend to get the cake one since she wanted that one but she got the pie medal from the admin, and she said it wasnt working, so i dropped my cake medal and tried to get it back from Cake boss Daniel. Now all he says is "you're not in the cake team. Silly !!" wtp? Is there a way to get back my cake medal? Even if i dont participate in the boss fights i just want the freaknig cake medal. Nexon sux <.<
