There's not a spot in all of Time Temple, as far as I'm aware, in any of the maps with monsters. If there's a monster near the person hanging on a rope or sitting on a stair and it gets attack, the monsters' ranges are big enough to hit them. I always tried helping my Japanese friends leech 999 kills on every map with their alternate characters and the characters were never in a safe zone, no matter where they put them.

I park my HS slave in the safe room before O4, not that annoying. Or I used to do when I was actually grinding.

Thanks, but I need that mule in the room with me, to make the Welcome Back ring do its thing (I'm wearing it).

There's technically no safe spot in O4, but if you take your rushing/killing route into consideration, there are a few almost-100%-safe spots. I personally use the ladder above the mini platform on the right side. I mob and go all the way to the rightmost on the upper platform, drop down and rush the mobs on that mini plat to the left, so that they'll be right under my mule facing against me (facing right), finish them off, buff and drop down.
My friend uses the top right ladder and he gets knocked off quite often but he can manage that so yeah.

If it weren't for those regular Oblivion Guardians and their absurd attack ranges, there'd be a safe spot in Oblivion 4. D:

I can confirm what Kalovale said. As long as whoever's controlling the mule is nearby, you shouldn't have problems hanging on the ladder above the mini-platform. I freeze the monsters there when I attack them, so they don't really get a chance to attack. It's not 100% safe, but I've done 4 hour training sessions without any problems there.

Or just go O5, there's safe spots there. Either that or just stick with what Kalovale said.

There is a safe spot in oblivion 4, I have done the 999 kills for my friends many times and they never got hit. I even camped above and below them and let the monsters attack to prove they were safe. You only need about 2 ladder steps above your head(So almost at the top of the ladder but not quite). I have used it a lot so as far as I know as long as you get it exact then it's 100% safe from my use. I am not 100% sure, could have been where I stood that made it so they didn't get hit? Either way, I was helping a NL with only 4k hp and he only died once and that was because he jumped off because haste stopped working. I don't use any special methods but I have never had them die when we get the spot right.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions.
Thank you, especially, Dominic ![]() I think I got it - or close enough to it that my mule didn't get hit at all in over 2 hours, and I didn't have to alter my rushing/killing route any. ![]() (this is the middle right ladder, above the mini-platform) |
