Is there any REAL info on what monsters MP does?
I have heard rumors that its just for MP eater or that its so the monster can use magic attacks on you or w.e. i am looking to see if anyone has any real answers.

I know that Leprechauns got 0 MP. That stops them from doing the evil lollipop of death move which would slay most unprepared Maplers.

It IS possible to use MP eater to drain a monster of all of it's MP which would stop it from doing certain magic attacks that require the monster's mp. I've done it when my bishop was a cleric. But some monsters may not need to use any MP to use some magic like attacks.

Any monster with an actual attack skill has and uses MP. Monsters with MP but without an attack to use only have the MP for MP Eaters.
