Looks like Nexon wants a monopoly on the "free to play" market.

Next stop: La Tale.

Just when I though I had escaped the clutches of Nexon for crap's sake...

I really hope Nexon gives WK the attention it deserves. That's the least I can hope for... >____<

Wonderking was just starting to get good, a tad bit cash oriented, but overall pretty great.

I can't wait to see how long it takes for zed to become mesos (lol) or for gcoins to become Nx cash.

Surely Nexon bought Ndoors because it was becoming a very serious competition in a market that
Nexon hadn't really experienced much of a run for their money. It is quite interesting they bought
them almost a week after PvP was released.

I'd like to think that if Nexon is going to try and absorb Ndoor's developement teams into their company, that
mabye Maplestory will tinker with PvP. It is most definately do-able, even in phase 1, wonderking has a very fun PvP system.

I know that the sale was in Asia, but in the article it listed that 7x% of the Ndoor's income was from the N.A. branch of their games.

As long as Dragon Ball Online isn't bought by Nexon, I'll be a happy camper. Even if they manage to get a hold of the North American version, the Japanese version should stay NetMarble only.

Well Nexon Korea and nDoors Korea were partners long before this.

And like the article says, : "Neither Nexon or NDoors have disclosed how this acquisition will affect the latter's branches in Japan and the States."

I can see this effecting content we get in the long run, but in the short run business practices differ from Nexon Korea and Nexon America.

On the bright side, this might mean a more diverse staff at Nexon HQ.

When I tried WonderKing, I loved the fact that everything in the cash shop was SO CHEAP compared to MS. It was like $10 - 15 for a full stat & skill reset.

We should take SS and compare with those taken a year later.
