LoL. I saw Flenaris today.
Hehe.

Anyways... weren't hermits always known as the 'KSing class?'
I remember back in the day, when I was third job training at spiders, I came up with this term called "sin logic."

Sin Logic - any map occupied by someone weaker is suitable for the taking.

If you don't like people calling you that based on your class, don't discriminate against FPs.

So then that must mean that there is a "fp logic"

F/P Logic - Im going to go around and abuse a glitch. Im going to mist every single Big Foot map I come into regardless of who is there and how long they have been there, because I can and its free

And like I said earlier, now that f/p mages have an EXTREMELY broken advantage, they are abusing it and ks people without a moments hesitation. I have yet to have a Big Foot that went uninterrupted. There has ALWAYS been a f/p mage that comes in and mists. And dont give me that crap about it being an accident or them not seeing me. Not one of them apologized and everyone of them kept misting until it was dead

Are most sins ksing pricks? Yes. Are most, if not all, f/p mages at Big Foot ksing pricks? Yes

^Yeah, I agree that a lot of F/Ps are being really inconsiderate with this glitch. I'm F/P myself, but I really want the glitch removed since it makes it really hard to actually find a bigfoot to fight and brings disgrace to my class. And I can vouch that not ALL F/Ps at bigfoot are ksing pricks because I'm not =p

If both sins and FP mages act that way, then why are you complaining? You're a sin, complaining about FPs acting the same way as sins and that makes you pissed?

Sin logic has been around longer than FP logic. You would agree on that right? Using your description of FP logic, you can say that FP logic only started when the boomers came out.

And LOL. You just have bad luck. Try going there in the middle of the night and you won't get KSed. I don't KS anyways, so don't point your finger at me. Not all FP mages are that way.

I'll fight more of bigfoot when the bug or glitch is fixed so that you can actually hit them twice in a row without having the attk go through them and it magically misses. Till then it's a waste of time for anything but f/p's to kill it Chin

It's not a glitch, as far as I can tell. They have a short period of invulnerability when they do their little jump attack. With a Devil's Sunrise, the timing is 3 brandishes, wait a second, then attack again. If they don't do the little jump attack, you can just keep attacking and your attacks will hit. Learn the timing and you won't take the big physical attack very often. It might be different for DrK's though.

The little thing you mentioned, MoT is the invuleranbility that it has (Elderwraiths has it too).

You have to time your attacks correctly since it has a long "flinching" animation (and I mean, its just long). I can get two Fire Arrows or two Compo shots off before I have to wait 1-2 secs before doing the same thing again.

(Just remember, if you are off by a sec or two - er, just hope that you live the 11K touch damage. =( )

Forget F/Ps. Once Bigfoot's fixed there won't be this problem. Still haven't seen any class capable of stopping me at HH.

being a f/p i hate all these, lower leveled f/p coming up to my own level without any effort, makes all that effort a waste of time :/

I aided several people by finding 7 Bigfoot (bigfeet?) today who in return were aiding me by letting me have the toe if it dropped.

I have really bad luck because none dropped a toe Frown .

I wasn't in it for the exp but for the first one where I attacked it first to defend myself I was surprised by the approx 20% at lvl 100 I received. I'll most likely die looking for more so I can finally get the toe and end up losing that EXP, but with just a partial att and party exp I can see how everyone is complaining. The lvl 76 (yes, a lvl 76 was helping me) F/P ended up leveling 4 times before I gave up for the day and ironically said "aww, I only got 30%" after competing for one of the kills.

Seeing all this happening, I have surprisingly not seen any of them "selling leach" as it were. All the people I have run into were partying people just because they were friends or asked nicely. Not sure what to say about what the future may hold if this stays for much longer.

I hate how the bigfoots never drop their toes when i'm around... I always get outdamaged by others. I still need a toe and a pumpkin head =(

i saved up killing until i leveled where i could just go and get the etc pieces without worrying about dying. But seeing as they're fixing (hopefully) the bosses, i can't see the possibility of me cathing another one. at least i have range... too bad they out run me ><"

pineapple you, if you weren't abusing a glitch we'd be able to earn them ourselves, don't try and make it seem like your helping people or doing the right thing

Yea, its always friends first. Sorry. If you need a toe, I suggest you go befriend some FP mages. :f6:

Managed to kill one with a MM friend of mine and some paladin that walked in without any 'easy kill' classes there to interfere. Since he wanted me actively helping and I don't really do much as far as bossing is concerned, I decided to use my first gelt (still have 3) and I was quite happily surprised. Oddly enough, my MM friend who is pretty much inactive as far as training goes and did not care about the pendant ended up getting the first toe that I've seen.

I have 5 F/Ps in my guild, one of which being one of my best maple buddies for years, the guild's former leader, and just about to 4th job. Though this can give me an advantage, I don't befriend people just so that I can turn around and use them. The problem obviously at this point though is just finding the darn things.

Well, the advantage of being FP is that you can teleport. I can check 19 ch in about 10 min, move to the next map in 3 min, check that map too, ect.
Don't go searching for them yourself.

The problem with searching yourself, is that you probably can't kill it, and if a kser shows up, o well.
You'd have to wait for the FP to get there.
You simply can't defend the map, and if BF walks into you, bibi.

Although you say you don't want to 'use' the friends, you have to... if you ever want your toe. Just ask each one of your FP friends, "If you find a BF, call me, I need a toe." A good friend will call you and wait for you before he even touches the bigfoot.
