Guide on Dragon Rider PQ?
#1
How would one successfully take this down? Say I had a Paladin, a BM, and an Aran?

Go in -> attack -> go to next map -> attack?

Not falling down would also be advised.

Here's a bit on the thing as a whole.

I think as a PQ based around flying, Paladin may not be the best choice >_> melee targeting really fails on flying stuff, especially with ACB/Blast's small vertical range.

I guess HH might be useful on those mobs though.

And lol @ the Bishop healing that DrK so much.

Apparently there's a 20 second cooldown on potion use, which would explain the healing.

Way to block mages from the PQ by not allowing to survive because of MG and not allowing them to use ultimates at all.

Why would you use ultimates on this thing?

Ultimates for the "kill the mobs" part.

But the main problem is that all hits would take you from mage's MP which would not be restored by heal and, hence, only every 20 seconds which ends up killing th mage.

I think mages should be able to survive, as I've seen a couple of videos with Evans at the boss.

IIRC, that only applies to the final boss, not the flying boss.

Wouldn't that be because Evans are basically a walking MP pot?

The first few stages are easy, you just kill dragons and stuff. After a few stages of flying and killing stuff, you reach the first boss. In the first boss' map, you can die and come back without a wheel, but you still lose full exp. The first boss doesn't really have any spectacular attacks, you can expect damage to be under 3k all the time except when it uses attack up. It has three different attacks, but they do about the same damage and really aren't very different from one another. The thrust can stun, but at a tiny 5% chance. It has four skills. When an orange circle appears, it's either using seduce or attack up, which raises its attack by 130 (about 4k touch) but only lasts 10 seconds with a 100-second cooldown, and it can be dispelled. Seduce has a huge range such that if you can even see it at all on your map, you're probably within the range. The seduce is the type that makes you jump, but since you can't jump while flying, it just suspends you in midair. It has a 40% probability, lasts 7 seconds, and has a 65-second cooldown. Hopefully you have enough hp to survive like 2-3 attacks. When a blue circle appears, it's either summoning wyverns or using damage reflect. DR reflects 13500-16500 back at you when you hit it while it's reflecting. It starts at 66% hp left, lasts 6 seconds, and has an 88-second cooldown. Try to time this well so that you don't attack and kill yourself while it's casting DR. After you kill the boss, enter the cave and move quickly but patiently, as you'll have to move through falling, stunning rocks to get to the other side of the room before the timer runs out. If you don't get there in time, you get kicked out the pq. The next map has the second boss, and in this map, you can only use potions once every 20 seconds. The damage is a little bit higher than the last boss and can go up to 4k, so make sure you're using your potions wisely. Like the first boss, the second boss doesn't have any special attacks. Luckily it doesn't have seduce or DR, all it has are summon, healing 80k-120k hp after it hits 20% hp left, and the same but more powerful att up skill that can make it touch for up to 5k. A bishop probably makes this part easy, but one way to go about it is to have a rusher keep it in the corner while ranged attackers fall back whenever they can't survive another hit before they have to use their next potion. When you kill the boss, everyone gets a box of their class upon leaving that has a low chance of getting a durability item.

I have a question:

When we are in the boss map is it possible for a BM/MM to use puppet that the Boss is just atracted to the puppet and so it could be possible for a strong BM / MM to solo that bosses?

Thx in advance
