To be precise, the age of 5, I was already learning how to play games on the computer. At 8 was when I started going on the internet, haha. Around 10 or so was when I was introduced to online-communities such as forums. Beyond 15 was when I got extremely interested with networks and the more complex aspects of computers.

Actually using a computer to program and play (including multi-user games) had to wait until 1979, when I was introduced to PLATO, empire, and moria

good times, good times

Yeah, I too learned on Punch cards. FORTRAN.
First personal computer was home-made, circa 1983. If I recall, 8088 motherboard, 256k memory board, floppy interface board, serial port board, all hand soldered. 360k floppy drive, monochrome 80x25 crt monitor. Most items, even including case, power supply, keyboard, etc cost $150 - $250 each, which was a lot at the time.

No idea. My elementary school was in Seattle, WA. So of course everyone's parents worked at M$. School was filled with Macs. Learned to type at School. I remember playing Zoo Tycoon and such at home, on my Dad's purrty computer in 1st or so Grade. Didn't turn into an internet hoar until Middle school, when I moved, was lonely, and was introduced to MapleStory.... I blame Maple for everything wrong in my life. :[

Thirteen. I did it exclusively for homework assignments... and sometimes to play Math Blaster :3. We had a bad computer so I didn't start doing leisure activities on it until I was fifteen / sixteen when I started to play MS.
