Note that most SE research is done on bow/MM/NL themselves, who don't have any Combo-type modifiers. This type of testing requires two characters and would necessarily be much more sparse.
Though this might be obvious, you're reporting results on 0 (or low) def monsters, right?

I tested this a while ago with a friend, and I can back up Lachrymus' claims. I don't know how anyone messed this up really; it's pretty easy to test.

Okay, that effectively makes Heroes 2.6% weaker with SE. Sorry.
Edit: That's kind of weird, because critical is applied before multipliers for every other skill in the game. Bullseye and Berserk multipliers are after critical for sure.

I tried SE when it came out and my Paladin definitely got the percent tacked onto the base skill (eg. 260% + 110% for Powerstrike with low level SE). So unless they changed it... it's still like that.
I think Combo is just applied differently to other multipliers. Same issue came up with w.def iirc - Paladins and DrKs get it taken from base * multipliers, Heroes just get base. I don't have a Crusader though so I can't assess the accuracy of that.

Regarding the DPS for Big Bang, I was just wondering why the Arch Mage's figures are so similar to Bishop's? Shouldn't Arch Mage's be 50% stronger because of Ele Amp? And does Spell Booster not effect this skill? Also, I noticed the speed reference listed Paralyze and Angel Ray having the same speed, yet both skills are calculated with a speed of 720 despite the fact a Bishop can't even use spell booster. Just wondering if I'm missing something here or if these are infact mistakes.

Big Bang is not affected by Amp. The two skills have the same speed after Booster.

I'm fairly certain it does. Annnnd regarding Angel and Paralyze, this is what I mean...
Magic Claw/Energy Bolt/Holy Arrow/Big Bang/Angel Ray/Fire Arrow/Poison Breath/Fire Demon/Ice Demon/Paralyze/Thunder Bolt/Cold Beam
Booster2: 720ms (-90ms)
Booster1: 750ms (-60ms)
Regular: 810ms
Both are listed (from LazyBui's post) as having the same speed, yet there is no way for Angel Ray to ever be cast under Booster 2 status, considering a Bishop can't even cast Magic Booster.
Sorry if I'm just being slow, but somethings just not tracking.

He's right Dusk, you did give them the same speed. Not that it makes a huge difference anyway because of the 1 second charge, but whatever.
As a sidenote, you also put Angel Ray down as 720 instead of 810. I fixed it for ya.

Thanks. Was starting to think I was crazy. I realize it's a small difference but it might as well be as accurate as possible. Also all my testing shows Amp effects BB. If you're suggesting Amp doesn't effect neutral skills you can easily see the difference with Magic Claw. And if this was the case Illusion would be near useless... Anyway it's almost 5am here so some confirmation would make me feel better about myself seeing as how my thoughts are scattered...

Sorry, it's just weird getting corrections to my spreadsheet over a year after I post it.
Major update to the spreadsheet. Check the OP for details.

Quote:6. Skills updated according to the latest KMS balance patch. This means Dual Charge*, Dark Sight delay reduction, Rapid Fire damage increase, among other things.
EDIT: Just checked. Meteor, blizzard, paralyze, chain lightning, element amplification, elquines and ifrit values need to be updated.
Also, are the equips for mages calculated right? it seems strange that the LUK mage would be stronger than the lukless one considering that the level 130 ewand requires no luk.
You can't just shove them both weapons with the same value for stats (I don't understand why the weapon matk and INT values are so low as well).
One last thing, can you try to make it so that it's compatible with office 2003 as well?

Apparently not. Thanks.

You all thought i was crazy, eh?! Well, who's the crazy one now?!?!
Normal Attack: 100% + Full Combo Critical
Max Damage: 963
With Critical (+200%): 2889
With Critical (+160%): 2503.8
Projected Max Damage: 898
With Critcal (+200%): 2694
With Critical (+160%): 2334.8
Observed: 2691
Combo Critical stacks up to 10 times; adds +6% Rate, and +10% Damage; has innate 10% Rate and +100% Damage; maximum of 70% Rate and +200% Damage.
I thought we had cleared this up in the past already, but alas.
Also, importantly, Snow Charge was left out of the calculation. Arans are 1.1x stronger than that on neutral targets at 100+ combo. And I can't really follow the stat sums to clearly but does the Aran have its weapon attack bonus from Combo Ability?

And I can't really follow the stat sums to clearly but does the Aran have its weapon attack bonus from Combo Ability? Snow charge was added in the Phys-dmg tab on the cells where min and max damage are shown. And yes, I did include the 20 attack from Combo Ability+Aggression.
Shidoshi Wrote:EDIT: Just checked. Meteor, blizzard, paralyze, chain lightning, element amplification, elquines and ifrit values need to be updated. Er... I guess I need to check the KMST updates. I totally forgot that those skills got buffed, so I just used Dusk's old values.

You can't just shove them both weapons with the same value for stats (I don't understand why the weapon matk and INT values are so low as well). I don't know the stats of usual mage stuff, so I pulled numbers mostly out of my ass. I think I just gave the weapons stats as though they were +8 on a 4 above-average base. Overall's... I just guessed. I don't know what mages wear, so I just estimated based on the base stats of reverse or common gear, depending on if they're luckless.
And what do you mean by that last part?
BRB fixing issues.

Yes.
As for the other stuff, Alex will have to answer that, because I have no idea what you're trying to say.

The spreadsheet uses +160% damage for Combo Criticals.
What weapon is this Aran using? I assume it says Speed 5 to streamline with a -2 for all boosters?

Oh, I see. And it's using a Purple Surfboard.

I don't see how Elquines and Efreet were changed. It's not in the KMS rebalancing patches. What were the changes, and when were they done?
And Dusk, gimmie the new version so I can edit it.

In that case, the weapon speed for it after booster should be 2, not 3.

There were no changes to Archmage summons, but Paralyze and Chain Lightning got a pretty signifigant boost, infact I heard it was somewhere between 20-25% increase when combined with the new amp. (Though this was probably a miscalculation on someones part, 25% increase seems rather high...)
