...lol. More like Death of Adobe. Microsoft released a statement this week backing Apple's stance on Flash. If anyone's dying a slow death, it's Adobe.

Adobe needs Apple, not the other way around.

No, Flash is not a great platform. It crashes all the time, is a huge resource hog, and Adobe just won't fix it.

Honestly, the average consumer doesn't care about Flash. Flash video? Youtube has 40% of all video on the web, and there's an app for it.

Apple does work with HTML5, and have made one of the better engines for mobile phone that supports HTML5. Also, Job's most recent reply says a lot of, uhm, weird stuff. I thought Adobe and Apple were friends, but oh well.

However, no need to worry, really. I spoke with a guy working in ARM lately, and he brought up the fact that their microchips will have Flash-acceleration, or something that will make it possible to run Flash on a mobile phone without wasting as much power as Jobs say. They also work a lot with gaming and games.

Ok, that solves about a quarter of the problem, maybe.
