Server fully migrated

Hello, everyone! Welcome to our new server in Boston.

The server migration was a resounding success for us so far. There were a few domain issues with our host, but those are largely resolved as of this point.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and do enjoy your stay here at Southperry.

During the downtime last night, I reconfigured the server so that e-mailing would work again (oops!) and redid our server so it serves static content (images, css, javascript) in a better way. This should result in faster download times and page rendering for everyone.

That was a much quicker move than I expected and I'm glad to see that it was a success. ^_^

What kind of waffles? Blue waffles? Pink waffles? Red waffles? Anyways, congratulations on the server migration. Site does seem to load significantly faster.

in the time it took for the site to come back i was able to register at another forum and even do some minor chores.

And I was thinking that this would last for days. Glad the transition when smoothly and welcome back (:

Glad to see the site up and running. Dispite the server moving further away from me... it does seem to be loading quicker. Maybe its chrome...
