50 looks fine; just max out Land Runner. You may consider getting Quick Rebound for the nice get-up and invincibility frames to avoid getting caught while you're on the ground. I've been mobbed to death from full HP by Stalkers and something else constantly OTGing me in Purgatorium. True story. Other than that, you've got your bases covered. Ancient Memory could be considered.

And your 60 build... for some reason, the Time Bomb dropped from 20 to 19 from the 50 build to the 60 build. Wut? D: And would you mind explaining why you got those mainly poke Launcher skills? They're not very useful in PvE, in my own opinion. Nothing I know about the Mechanic awakening for males. I've only seen it used once in a video; no other videos of Mechanics I've watched have used it.

Hm...that's wierd, I'm not seeing what you're seeing, the skill builds look fine. The launcher skills are just something at random for variety. I can just augment that to max out either Tempester or Rolling Thunder. Actually on that issue, I have read several threads on DFO and there's mixed feelings between Rolling Thunder and Raptor Trans, chose Raptor because they hit no matter what.

I just realized I can max out G2 and G3 at 60 if I sacrificed out Ancient Memory. Don't know what to do with that.

Huh, guess I must have screwed it up and forgot to change it back when I was fiddling with the link to see how changing the link would change the level of skills. So pretty much...

-For Male Mechanics, it's highly suggested that both Land Runner and EZ-8 Time Bomb are maxed out, as those are your main sources of damage. They are generally the best source of damage for Male Mechanics.
-If you're looking for something to grab stuff with, Punisher is the way to go. BBQ will not launch super armored things, and will only knee enemies that have pseudo-super armor; it won't follow up with the *chudda chudda chudda*
-There's really no reason to raise G-2 to level 7, and not go any further. If you're not going to level it up, as you've chosen G-3 over it, I would suggest leaving it at level 5.
-With the points left, you can raise G-1 to maximum, giving G-3 that extra damage boost.

This skill build, as I've modified yours with what I've said above, will give you the most bang for your buck in PvE. Male Mechanics that choose to max out their Awakening skills are generally left more strapped on SP than those that do not.

I don't know too much about Mechanics. I got to 30 something, and then gave up since it just wasn't my style to let my robots do the work. Generally the characters I know about the most are those that I've played for quite a while, but Mechanic was an exception since I got into researching about the differences, advantages, and disadvantages, of being a Male Mechanic compared to being a Female Mechanic.

The problem with that is that the Mechanic's level 70, and the Mechanic's a Female. Female Mechanics are grossly overpowered with their G-series. By constantly transforming, they can keep up their G-series indefinitely, as it provides a much longer extension than Males get when they transform their G-series. As well as that, Female Mechanics' G-series is naturally stronger, by quite a bit.

lol wtp @ that video. Anyone know the mechanics of 2nd impact damage scaling? I'd assume the monsters' hp get buffed too though.

GAH! I 7z-ed twice today on my Berserker trying to get him through Sky Tower hell. God damn it waste of pots and my time.

*Man it's rough being a Berserker. No Super Armoring spam or Star in the Sky level invincibility; I also keep trying to Blood Lust enemies as they fall to the ground which I end up missing ~90% of the time. I'm hanging in there for Frenzy though. It's just making me sad so far how suicidal Berserkers are. I both hate and love Derange.

At least there's Diehard as a self heal when HP gets low... combo that with some Fortune Coins for some win!
