This has to be the one of the worst (and many laughable) EPIC FAILS I've seen from Nexon.

Do tell why. I consider it a huge success, business wise.

Damn Nexon for for being like every other company and expanding how and where they sell it!!! I mean we sit here and play game yet complain about everything.

Excuse me good sir, can you leave us alone? We're just trying to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of having nx cards on campus. There's no complaining going on yet.

Marketing wise, this makes sense. You know what else would make sense? Giving out cheap, "free" items along with purchases of textbooks or something.

As stated previously this a good sign that Nexon is targeting a more mature audience rather than MTV. This also reflects their finacial situation being good, I know that is obvious but this might result in more income and better security/support. Although everything I say is indeed an assumption, it's a logical one.

Do a lot of harvard/yale students play MS? I didn't know that o_o

Proof? I have a difficult time believing that the nation's supposed best and brightest would play a game as awful as MapleStory, especially with the loads of work they're given.

Edit: I mean, I'm sure there are a few people who play it as there are everywhere, but no where near enough to say "a lot".

People who are engaged in hard paced work often find really simple, stupid games enjoyable because they don't have to think about them and can decompress for a bit.

lol selling NX cards at college campuses. Maybe I can find another DFOer. Very unlikely I will find a Bellocan player. A DFO player is far more likely.

My college roomate introduced me to maple in the first place. Mindless grinding is very therapeutic after cramming your face full of biochemistry.

It makes sense, and it shows that their marketing department finally acknowledges that its player base is generally made up of people over 18. Now if they would only treat their players like adults via their customer service system, but that's a complaint for another day.
