Basically, that's a site to explain a bit as to what your dreams might signify. I've had lots of strange dreams as a child, ones involving falling in an endless pit, or ones in which I saw my father in an alternate reality, etc. Most of my dreams seems to involve romance recently, and I'm sorta wondering as to why.
Quote:One of my most recent dreams was just strange. I'll attempt to describe. I lived in a different town in this dream, I see myself living in an apartment or a house, I can't seem to tell. A certain girl visits me, who traveled from another state. As she knocks on my door, I let her in and we had a conversation, some hugs, and a couple glasses of red wine. I see myself and her looking outside the windows, to stare at the snow. After a while, she leaves and had to go back to her hotel. Suddenly, after a while, I see myself running as fast as I can, I was running out of breath, but I ran far to the other side of the town. It was snowing, and I was wearing a suit. I quickly ran towards the hotel.
After getting in the hotel, I asked the closest clerk I could find, and asked for a certain room number. After getting to that room, I quickly opened the door. The girl turned around and smiled at me, and the next thing I know.. I had angel wings that became visible from my back, and I held her in my arms. I then 'flew' away with her, using the windows as an escape path. I flew up high.. really high.
Some of my dreams starts out as serious, then becomes something so strange that I cannot describe it. I think sometimes, dreams are made of wanted ideals or things I might be longing for. But my subconscious makes it seem like a reality when I dream. Do you think your dreams might mean something? Or is just 'nothing' to you?

It's just nothing to me. I enjoy the challenge of trying to identify what recent activities or thoughts I've had that contributed to a dream, if any. Even then, some dreams are just gibberish to me.

I used to dream about me alone in a dark place where i couldnt even see myself but i could choose to stay in the dark or wake up. If i wanted to wake up, i just had to focus and calm down, if i tried to wake up getting all desperate, it'd feel as if the darkness absorbed me even more. Obviously i got all desperate with like 381203801? of this dreams coz they felt like nightmares but i found out how to get out of the darkness and wake up and eventually i stopped having this dreams.
Quote:Darkness
To dream that darkness comes upon you, signifies failure in some work that you are attempting. Darkness is synonymous with ignorance, the unconscious, evil, death, and fear of the unknown. If the sun breaks through the darkness, then you will overcome your failures. If you feel safe in the dark, then it suggests that you like not knowing about certain things. As some might say, ignorance is bliss.
To dream that you are lost in the darkness, denotes feelings of desperation, depression, or insecurity.
To dream that you are groping around in the darkness, indicates that you have insufficient information to make a clear decision. Do your research and do not rush into making choices.
Quote:Lucid dreams give you the ability to control your own dreams and steer them toward the direction you want. In the lucid state, you are more willing to confront threats and as a result, become more self confident.
Although it was more like a lucid nightmare.

One recurring dream I have is the one where you're just falling. Nothing of noticable features surrounding me. Just straight up free falling. It's one of those dreams where you know in the dream itself that you're dreaming and on some subconscious level accept the fact that you're dreaming and yet still feel anxious. Being that I have anxiety issues I can feel myself in the dream just having a full blown panic attack. And then I just wake up. I'm usually having an anxiety attack at this point as well and wake up with my heart beating like a race horse and feeling incredibly claustrophobic. Do not like ):
I can't help but feel it's a reflection of my life and it's just spiraling out of control and there's nothing that I can do about it :\

Dreams occur for two reasons: information processing from the previous day or wish fulfillment. Or you can just say that electrical activity spikes during REM sleep, but that's not as fun.

Been having them recently like once/twice a week about problems that happened before, usually a day ago, solving the problem in my dream and solving it after i wake up in real life ^_^, ofc not with the same details and all. Also, the 2nd part sounds more fun and i will read about it on the weekends.

I used to have lucid dreams when I was younger. Now I can hardly remember my dreams. I do know that I used to dream a lot about cows though, and I've no idea why since I don't have a fascination with them or anything.
One dream I had when I was a kid involved the earth being taken over by aliens made out of paper. Their ships fired something like flaming fish with rocks taped onto them or something. I think I still have the dream diary I made when I was younger somewhere, perhaps I should give it a read through and post the results.
I do know that over 80% of my dreams involved death of a large mass of people, or the destruction of the world, but I was never terrified in any of those dreams. In one of them, I was literally just playing games inside while people out the window were screaming and running around on fire and such. When someone screamed "HELP" or something to that effect in front of my window, I walked up to the window and closed the shade and sat back down.
That's probably one of the most memorable dreams I've had...I'm not even sure why,

The falling off the bed dreams are common among everybody, its what happens when your body functions (breathing/heart beating, etc etc....) start to go too slow and you are at risk of dying, so your body jolts you back to life.
Okay! My top weird dreams as a kid.

I had a dream where:
I had a dream where I was being chased by Freddy Kruger and he cut my arm with his blades and when I woke up, I had a cut there. True story.
I've also had many dreams where I've been knocked off cliffs and what not, waking up and literally hitting the bed. No, not the feeling. I actually am in mid-air and hit the bed after I'm fully awake.

The only dreams I remeber are nightmares, and they normally involve me seeing one of my friends or family dying and being unable to do anything to stop it. Pretty annoying because I get them kinda often, makes me wake up feeling pretty horrified, and that is the one thing that really, truely scares me.
