10-8 local time or according to your clock? If it's local, foreign players are also shut out a fair bit, if based on your computer's clock, it can be easily bypassed.

Nexon America's too money hungry to try and pull pomegranate like that. Though I suppose it's a lot easier to do something like that for the Korean version due to the SSN thing.

It's based on Korea's local time, of course. It'd be based on the same clock you see at boat ticketing booths in-game.

So that's why Hong Kong, European, and Brazilian users are banned from the game by IP. Thanks for clearing this up.

Score for the parents, I guess. In their perspective after all, it should be a good thing.

Theyre only banned because they got a localized version for themselves. Global is for all areas that do not have a localized area.

Sucks for anyone who plays KMS and is under 19 on their account.

Funny, since when I first signed up, I was like, 12, so I had to fake my age. I made an easily memorable year, and what do you know, it happens to be above 20.

Which means more money for Nexon.

Accounts unable to sell stuff at night -> make new account that is over 19 -> buy new shop permits and transfer all equips over to merchant account.

You need a korean ID to register for the account. (unless you steal your parent's ID)

So? Americans use korean SSNs; koreans could easily do the same.

The age is set in your KSSN.... Unless you have an older sibling who'll loan you his Social Security number, Korean players are pretty screwed. Global, on the other hand.... >_>

@Ninja:
I'm not sure how Koreans view SSN 'stealing'. Legally it's identity theft. Any Koreans here care to enlighten us?
