I don't really know what it is about Crimsonwood since it's release but I've really started to like the story behind masteria/nlc. I recently finished the Raven Ninjas/Jack Barrington quest and noticed the story of the Grandmasters. It seems like they are really starting to hint about a future boss in Crimsonwood Castle or possibly a PQ leading to a boss. Anyone else pick up on these small subtle hints for future patches to touch on? :f6:
CwK will have a good chance of being a very large pq, with having to do all the phantom forest quest will be a requirement. that would be good and we would see the end of Cwk and get on to other places being built, if you ask me that would be the better ption considering that mass amount of areas there are projected to be, its possible bigger ben or the catacombs could come up next with barricade bros still being a central characters in the story line and that there might be more to crimsonwood's grave thats my idea
i think the elemental guardians that guard the keep would lead to a nice boss area inside the castle. that'd be so sweet.. maybe a lvl 150 boss that has different immunities for each part of it like everything but poison immune then fire then ice then holy then magic then weapon.
Yes I agree that CK could be partly training maps and partly one huge boss PQ similar to the Pink Been bossfight.
There is a very good chance that most of CK is PQ.
I would like to see a battle with all four of the "new" Grandmasters(from the Windraiders, Stormbreakers, Firebrands and Nightshadows) at the same time(while the four Grandmasters and their summons just run trough the entire map running into everything, except Archers that stand on Archer exclusive sniping spots).
Of course all of this should be after a really hard (guils allience)PQ which actually requires teamwork(with randomly chosen combinations of stages).
Of course there should be good training spots for all classes, though they should require partying and strategy because we don't want another group ultimate spamming Bischop/Arch mage or Hero/BM/NL soloable maps, even though the monsters could be weak to 1 class(or even 1 type of weapon).

Well, bosses don't necessarily have to be bad. I mean, what has Pianus done? Zakum is possessed, Alishar is misguided, and Mushmom and the other area bosses are just... there. Maybe you have to defeat it to prove yourself?
look at the "Masteria Expansion, name and proofs for each" topic. i just took the converstation back.
i actually think that the inner sancturn of the keep is a PQ, similiar to the GPQ- but not the same.
we might have the first PQ ever, with fighting over 4 BOSSES at once! [the twisted grandmasters]

Well, it's not really... something. It's more of a legend among people who master more then one weapon. I don't see why you would kill it, considering it takes souls to the other world. I guess it's some sort of angel? :/ I can't see killing it.

bleh.. i guess i'll just take my reply from that topic:

IsaacGS Wrote:I was thinking that as well, fighting all 4 versal masters at once, each having a unique ability, perhaps one healing the others or something. That would be really tough, and also awesome. They sort of have the opportunity for this to happen now, as Bigfoot and HH both spawn on several maps together. Perhaps it was a test to see how fighting two mobile bosses at once would work?
The other possibility was that there might be some sort of Crimsonheart zombie (We know he was a monster at one point!), perhaps as a pre-boss for the versal 4, or as reinforcements after they are all defeated.
the boss on the banner is referring to Bigfoot. :p
uhm, taking back the converstation to this~
i found this ss:

yep. you're right isaac.
the key to the inner sancturn is the "pre-quest" for entering the area
and then the PQ! or some kind of pq like horntail..
my guess? maybe you're right about the zombie crimsonheart. i think we're going to have something like stage 7 [or 8? don't remember] at lpq, with killing the rombot as "preperations" to the REAL boss- the.. uhm.. the fat ugly thing w/e it was..
anyway, so the zombie/under control crimsonheart would be a "stage-monster" which we'll have to fight, and when we win- he's becoming to a NPC [like sharen III in GPQ, when we finish the stage, or PPQ with the herb-NPC w/e]
but i don't think they're going to stand at the same platform in the map. maybe we'll have to fight each grandmaster in another platform, or to divide the party..
however- this IS a big bang for CWK ;p
Edit:
p.s., just remembered- fat ugly thing w/e = alishar.
but you got a good point, if the grandmasters are the bosses- what's the indigo phoenix?
