Create the ultimate in game team

Otherwise its challenge at all.

Hey I can come up with a random personal challenge too. You must run your Pokemon out of PP and win every Gym battle exclusively with Struggle. Potions aren't allowed and do the Hustle for 45 secons every time a trainer sends out a Pokemon.

Your rules aren't particularly interesting and it's your game, so you make the team.

Yes, but you can't expect us to go by every one of your rules when you turn around and say "Oh, you can do this...but only if it follows this."

"Oh, your Pokemon will be of an equal level as your opponent's....but only if you make your Pokemon eat 50 rare candies every time your opponent's Pokemon gain 50 levels.

I reject your logic and substitute my own.

Yes, because as we know, we can all predict the opponents pokemon. What if it's lower level than our previous opponents's pokemon? Time paradox? Fail.

These rules make no sense and suck

It's less the fact they suck and more the fact that almost any team of 6 Pokemon can beat the storyline.

Also, I find it hypocritical of you that you're criticizing our abilities to construct a Pokemon team based off of your standards, when you have yet to produce any kind of example team, even when asked.

Its about making the most efficient team. 6 random pokes could prolly do this if its not about speed.

Ill work on a team

You want a good team to beat the game with under your conditions? I made the team for you. You just change the first option to "6" and then click "generate" and the team I made you shows up.

Oops. Change the "Exclude Legendary Pokémon from results?" to "Yes" then.

I skimmed through the rules and the team I came up with is pretty close to my in-game team:

Geodude - Quite possibly the best in-game Pokemon.
Togepi - It learns Extrasensory, making training easy. It should hatch by Goldenrod and usually evolves at level 20 without haircuts. It learns Wish so it can heal your team.
Chikorita - Reflect is great team support and it learns Synthesis to heal itself.
Lapras - Can catch it on Friday after beating Morty. Great for Lance in particular.
HM Slave
HM Slave

Stick Ho-Oh/Lugia in there whenever you catch it.

Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney - Geodude
Morty, Chuck - Togepi
Jasmine - Geodude
Pryce - Chikorita should do well here. It has enough defenses to take Ice attacks.
Clair - Lapras mostly. Geodude can take out the Gyarados.

Kangaskhan is another great in-game Pokemon. You can catch it in the first route of the Pokewalker after 3k steps.
