Favorite flying type?

I like Swellow, Staraptor, Honchkrow, and Aerodactyl off the top of my head.

Xatu, Togekiss, Honchkrow, and Aerodactyl. Mostly chose these on how cool the design and idea is.

Hmm, off the top of my head, Noctowl, Xatu, Mantine, Starly, Staraptor, and Articuno. There may be more...

I keep Mistakenly Reading Xatu as Xenu lol

No love for Dodrio?
It's (probably) the only wingless bird but it's the closest thing to a Pogey Roadrunner.

Also, hereby declaring Flygon a flying type.

It's only not one because they couldn't make it Ground/Dragon/Bug/Flying and that would be ridiculous anyway. At least it has Levitate, so it counts.

According to Bulbapedia:

Doduo and Dodrio are both able to learn Fly, despite not having any wings. This is because the Japanese name for the move can also be translated as "sky jump", and both are known for their prowess at jumping.

Premise of the thread was for Pokemon you can stick FLY on, not your favorite Pokemon that hovers above the ground.

I like Togekiss for stats, Staraptor for looks.

I'll go Charizard, Pidgeot, Scyther (its evo loses its subtype for Steel), Gyarados, Dragonite, Skarmory, Pelipper, Altaria, Staraptor.

I'll stick with Pidgeot and Altaria (eventhough I haven't used it much) as my most favorite flying types.

Last version I played (Pokemon Gold), I caught a level 1x Zubat early on, I don't remember where exactly. By the time I stopped playing, it was a level 7x Crobat and was basically a staple of my team, my main Fly mule and an essential part of my ragtag 4x-7x crew (the 4x was a Tangela) I used to beat Red; needless to say I got attached to him (yes it was male, the sign said so). It's good to see the bat love in this thread.

Other than that I remember liking Zapdos because he was spiky and electric and Farfetch'd for being silly looking. I was easily impressed.
