Do you write in cursive, or do you print?

I just randomly thought of this. I remember that I was taught in 3rd grade to write cursive. We were graded pretty hard, and I pretty much failed because my cursive sucked (not like my printing is good either, but it is better). After that, I never really wrote cursive again, and I don't really remember it anymore.

I can write in both, but I prefer to write in print since it's easier for me and the easiest for people to read.

I write in print, though, my printing is pretty terrible and my cursive is apparently very good. I've just always written in print and it's easier for people to read (even with my terrible printing as people in my class cannot read cursive...-.-)

Scribbles. Literally. I write the first two or three letters, and the rest looks like those wavy lines in signatures.

I can't do cursive at all, it just looks plain ugly. I actually took a picture (blurry) of a page from my notes recently with my laptop's camera and everybody said it was girly >:[.

I print. It just flows better for me. I had to learn cursive from Kindergarten to Grade 4, so I got sick of it. And I disliked having to connect all the letters with specific curls and whatnot.

Just for fun, I write in cursive sometimes. Like when I'm taking notes, I would sometimes start writing a page in cursive, just to see if I can still do it.

You know, I realized that when you try to print really fast (and thus don't take your pen all the way off the paper from letter to letter sometimes), it starts to look a lot like cursive. I'd be willing to bet that's related to how it started.

Print for me though. My print is a good deal less legible than Kevo's, and my cursive is totally illegible even to me. I think the last time I tried, I forgot how to do some of the letters in cursive, such as capitol K or capitol F.

My print looks very skinny and disconnected. My print is small no matter what, but cursive makes it flow better (and it's easier to write with).

I use print for normal writing, cursive for essay tests. But usually it's an awkward combination of both mixed together.

I had actually gotten kicked out of class when we were learning cursive, so I just never picked it back up after that. I absolutely hate cursive though, you can never really read anybody elses easily, which makes it horrible if you need to peer review someone elses work.

I used a mixture of both; has nothing to do with speed, it's really just me being too lazy to lift my pen off the page.

I print for one reason. If I do cursive my writing looks horrid.. but sometimes I just wanna do something fast so I do cursive, If I do cursive I write faster, if I print it's slightly more legible.

I can do both. I prefer print. Cursive looks like my signature, which is a bunch of zig-zags. No one can read my cursive except me. If they can read it, God forbid they tell their friends.

Well, I personally write in cursive all the time. I was taught it in grade 4 and the teacher said that we would be graded on how we write with cursive (yikes!). It just sort of caught on. I find I write MUCH more fast with it, and it is still legible (atleast I can read it! Stop trying to cheat!).

iirc, cursive writing came first.

I can write in both.
My handwrting isn't the neatest (far from), but it's readable.

I do print because I don't like cursive, and also the fact that almost everything in 6th grade+ was print only.

I can't write in cursive anymore, even though when I start taking notes and writing fast my print is extremely similar to a silly cursive so...
