Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

2 Questions:

1) I need to find Million Deadshot Shoulder. Its level 35, same as the Belt (though the recipe is level 34) Should I be able to find it or the recipe at Purgatorium. Its the same place where I found the Belt recipe.

2) What is a good item set for Battle Mage? Should I get Rock Star item set or hold off for something else?

There's the Shadow Veil Set. It adds to Shadow Chaser, though, which is why I never considered it. Otherwise, it's pretty good. I also see quite a few of the more "pro" Battle Mages wearing that three piece leather Legacy set (whatever it's called). It has a bunch of things helpful to Witches, but it's great for Battle Mages too. I'm sure it's expensive... Adds a bunch of really good things. And then there's the two purple sets that add Physical Critical (Spinel is 30 and 35 and Stalker is 40 and 45). Both add 15% Physical Critical if you have all five pieces. Personally, I wear the Stalker set (with the Spinel Belt still) because I love being a Critical Hit whore (I have 25% total, passive). I think there's a purple set that adds Hit Rate, if you want to look into that.

Not sure what else there is.

Just sold my Stalker Belt Recipe like last week or something. Would have given it to you if I had know that you were still using the Spinal Belt.

True Leather is the stuff that adds Hit Rate, I think it's 35~40 or something; not sure about that.

Finally finished every quest from Behemoth (minus the quest for the Honorary GBL title, not worth it) on my Battle Mage. Now to do GBL tomorrow and to finish the last of the Behemoth quests on my Grappler.

EDIT: Finished all Grappler Behemoth quest! Finally no more Behemoth except for Dailies.

(Except when I finally make a Soul Bender)

Finally reached 47 and I managed to get Vilmarks after only 2 tries on Danjin. Now I just need people to help me run it, so I can collect for my Awakening.

I am scared to DFO because of the unrighteous bannings. Anyone else not logging on for now?

Never knew about that. I didn't get banned so far today, but skills are ALMOST unbuyable, and you can't check the skill information on them in-game. Hovering your mouse over ANY skill icon gives you a gray bar over your screen and a tremendous lag spike. I'm not the only one that gets this; some people on DFOSource are also getting the same issue. I found a way to buy skills but it's really hard to pull off successfully. Click on the Buy Skill icon in the skill purchase window, and mass click on the skill you want. If you fail to get it and you keep lag spiking, move off, and try again until you get that purchasing thing that says "confirm buy bla bla bla".

Before entering Vilmark expert:

"Hey party leader, wait, my connection is person X is yellow"
"Oh, that won't cause any problems" *enters Vilmark*

Connection went red a couple rooms in and the red connection caused us to fail at the boss. Oh well, I got an Agitator Ivan kill which is what I was there for. Yay, +10 str.

I need to do some Vilmark clearing myself. Or should I just try to get to lvl 48 before trying any further than the expert quest?

I'm always up for helping with Vilmark on my Witch or Gaia. Just let me know if you need another person, whenever.

Look at potions from 1st and 2nd picture. MP problems are small time. Full dungeon clear, nonstop summoning, no time spent resting for MP. Damn I love this class for being so potless! I still need a Scholar Armguard, and the Legacy 54 MP/min mage weapon.
