There seems to be a dangerous creature related to the Gryphons that resides deep in the Krakian Jungle. It's called the Typhon, and Barricade says that it is an "elemental of Air," so naturally it has massive wings. It sounds very much like a potential boss creature. The other Krakian item, the Stone Tiger Head, seems to imply that it is from the same culture that created the Taru Totem and all the strange primitive monuments on Masteria.

I guess it's possible the Typhons are originally from Krakia, but it's worth mentioning they've moved to the Crimsonwood Cliffs.

But Lukas seems to know about them, and said they nested on the mountainside, and he's from 1000 years ago.

A fair portion of birds tend to migrate at specific points in the year.
You might see a change or two in the monsters grounds in a different area.
Since Krakia is set to take place somewhere in the middle of a jungle, and following a set path of migration, you might not see eggs in the other map. All of thats pending if they reuse them.

Its also a very simple method of not having to come up with another monster.

Any ideas over what happened to Lukas?
He says he saw a flash of light, but was he teleported away from the keep before it was destroyed/taken over?

I think that I might have been confused by John's comment into thinking that the Typhons were also in Krakian Jungle when he was actually talking about the Gryphons.

I do think it'd be neat if they made one Typhon randomly spawn out there with the Gryphons once in a while. XD

Same as above for the first part. My interpretations aren't always accurate. :p

if you talk to Taggrin, he says that the whole continent of Masteria was teleported in a flash of light. I'm betting this is the same flash as Lukan. Lukan just can't remember anything that happened in Versal... However long he was there.

Well he could be making reference to the Crimsonwood keep, but the dragon door could very easily take us to home of one of the current day clans. As the story tells us, they all resided at the keep back in the good olde days.

Both places can have inner sanctums.

Someone on sleepywood had posted the Ridley dialog for Ridley's Stone, so here it is!

It's pretty long, and by giving him one of the untradeable Boss ETCs he mentioned, you can get another description on the monster it came from. Pretty interesting stuff.

I also updated "The People of Masteria" section by adding on to LeFay, Crimsonheart, Ridley, and Jack's descriptions, as well as writing up descriptions for Killian, rafael, Delgrund (lol what little there is to say), and "The Alchemist".

Interesting. Is the Ridley Stone iTCG?

I don't know if anyone noticed this, but all of the mobs that had to do with the former master guilds have gray skin. So they weren't really former Stormbreakers, Windweavers, etc. but evil Versalians o_O

It really could be. With other people of Versal having managed to find themselves in our world, so could The mirror version of Crimsonwood be leaking into ours. These could be an evil army of Versal if CWK's former inhabitants were as good as they say. When you consider versal's mushmom being far from innocent and helpless, and their balrog being friendly, who's to say the same can't be said for these guys?

Like world of warcraft, I'm wondering if we're going to join factions and gain reputation.

One question: Who are the Bosshunters' opposites? They are not the Crimson Guardians. (If the rest have similar names, why not the Bosshunters?)

Bosshunters were a combination of all of the guilds.

no bosshunters were one of the 5 major guilds, and deffinately one of the strongest of the 5. The evil Bosshunters are probably in the keep itself, as enemies for the pq or just as normal and strong mobs.

yeah, I'll get that. I forgot it when I updated the rest of the thread.

T-1337 never said what he was sent here to do. It could also be that he's here to protect someone, or serve them some coffee. We don't know.

They may not have opposites. Since bosshunters were from all groups, there wouldn't be a standard design for them. I believe it said in the Bosshunter Armor descriptions that they were mostly wiped out so that might explain why.
