Critical Damage Increase for Vipers!?

It seems SOMETHING has changed, so I'm now able to do a LOT more damage than before! Note : NONE of my equips have changed, but my damage has jumped a TON:





Before, I was barely breaking 60k with the top hit of Rapid Fist, but now I'm easily hitting near 90ks. I'm going to get the Adventurer Critical Ring to test out more, but holy crap!!!! I didn't know there was a damage change! I also noticed my Dragon Strike's criticals were doing a LOT more damage than normal, too!!

I don't know for sure. I don't have any numbers besides what I see. The highest I used to see before the update was around 63k, now the highest I saw so far (I don't know if this is my highest at all) was 91k.

Is it -pure- the ciriticals or is there also a slight increase in the non-critical damage area?

I think it's only criticals. I haven't really played around with it much, but from what I've seen, non-critical damage hasn't been changed.

Sounds to me like they made crit damage either 160% or 200% though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it isn't a visual glitch. This also proves our theory with the guy in KMS who was doing over 100k damage with Rapid Fist + Critical at level 164.

I bet this guy has around the same damage range as I do, but if he has a critical ring, that explain his higher critical damage. ...Time to level my XBow to level 80. >_>


Oh yeah! THE QUEST FOR THE RINGS SUCKS! You have to get to level 50 to start it, then get ANOTHER 30 levels before you can choose a ring to take. ;x It freaking sucks! Oh, and you only have 1 month to do so.

Level 80 on an adventurer in one month isn't so bad. Then again, this is adventurers we're talking about.

But 99k is WAY higher than what i was able to hit 7ish levels ago. Max damage with crit used to be around 70k...and i haven't done any major upgrades either.

Yeah... Insane damage increase is insane.

My Dragon Strike went from around 50k --> 65k

What's your damage range?

That's with the 20 attack buff.

Without it, my range is like 3xxx ~ 5498

Maybe it is just you then. My max range is 700 higher than yours, which is more than enough room for me to do similar damage if you got a crit dmg increase.

Can you test and find what the most damage you can hit on one of the first four hits? That'd make it much easier to see what crit is doing. Your Barrage is maxed right?
